OK. Let me tell you all what I think right now. Ben is a pompous ass. But there are two kinds of pompous asses. How can we be sure he is a real one ? Some are "fake" you know. It doesn't take much to get them off the horse, and they seek out more and more people looking for someone that can do it. It is harder than it should be to earn their respect. Of course from the position which they sit, this does not happen often.
Now first of all if we are to be tolerant individuals and conduct ourselves accordingly, what should we do ? First of all the guy did not come and rape anyone, my bank account still has that same $12 in it, so what did he do ?
I'll tell you what he did and right now it is so gooood that he is muted at the moment. You know what he did ? He mounted a venting spout for y'all to take out some other shit on him. Why the hell else would he stick around until booted ? Think about it and admit it. He satisfied a desire in YOU ALL. You enjoyed his descent as well as your percieved ascent. Admit it. Don't try to lie to me, I have been here long enough that I could do psyche profiles on about half the members here.
Remember when you were young and you rebelled because you felt different, out of place, no team wanted you ? Remember moving to a new area and being alone in the crowd ? Don't you see this is all the same thing. You have fueled this fucking inferno as much as the OP if not more, and I fucking know that you enjoyed every minute of it.
Will we ever learn to argue right ? I doubt it, but that is no reason to not proceed in that direction.
And I do say this, the OP is going to have to learn how to take a joke, so to speak.
