Edit: WOOT! I've been wanting to use that emote for a while.

I was thinking the same thing, hehehe.....

Not at all, it was going (relatively) okay.

~FR

Since I have fusion on hide I am going to offer him this little bit of wisdom to carry him onward.

Ignorance can be educated but stupid is forever. I have attempted to educate you, not nearly as hard as stella has (well done stella) and give you a point of preponderance so that you could reflect on your own issues, just as woody should.

I did encourage my boys and girls to block you, and although they respect me they are not forced nor compelled to obey me. That said, tread carefully. I aggressively defend my /s boys and girls and they understand I am done with you, however you may have noticed Team Troll every now and again in a sig line, that should be warning enough; my boys and girls stick together and the Troll is holy.

YMMV

rick, you beat me to it. I just cracked up when I saw Dumb call the other one Dumberer.

Hey, give me a break. I'm at school most of the day and I don't get a chance to get on. So far, I've had at least two posts that I was concocting stolen by a few hours [;)]

I would suggest you reread the thread more carefully, and avoid making incorrect assumptions about me and putting words into my mouth.

If you would use the effing quote feature rather than copy and paste, maybe people would know what the hell you're saying in the first place, but I doubt it. [8|]

"I find that many of the people who use terms like 'fatty' wouldn't even think of walking up to a bald person that they didn't know very well and saying, "Hey, baldy, how ya doin'?" For that matter most won't call someone 'fatty' to their face either. If the term is so OK to use and not intended as an insult, I wonder why that is..."

That's just ridiculous, I don't go up and say 'hey bald person' either, I say 'Alright Dave'.

Ridiculous? Is it really? Why would you call a bald person by his name and call a fat woman "fattie" and not her name?

I wouldn't. Why would you think I would?

"actually, 'sub' is short for submissive. Using 'subbie' is making extra effort to use a diminutive which is often seen as condescending, particularly if it is directed at people who do not know and like you.

That said, while I do not mind being called fat (I'm 5'9" and a bit under 200lbs, so 'big' would also be accurate), 'fatty' bugs me for a couple of reasons. First off, the diminutive makes it sound condescending and very much like a grammar school insult. Secondly, removing 'person', 'man', or 'woman' turns the fat part from an adjective into a noun, which comes across as an attempt to marginalize the person or persons being referred to by defining them according to a single trait."

I think you're reading way too much into my turn of phrase :)

Are you bi-polar or something? Or just back pedaling now that it is too late.

As for your stated size, the irony of your thread is beyond.

You have completely lost me. How am I backpedaling? and what on earth is "my stated size"?

*Psst* Red, Woody doesn't know how to use quotes. Most of that post was mine, including the height and weight. His parts were:
quote:

I think you're reading way too much into my turn of phrase :)
and
quote:

That's just ridiculous, I don't go up and say 'hey bald person' either, I say 'Alright Dave'.

sexyred1 -> RE: Is the term BBW annoying? (3/15/2011 6:14:41 PM)

Sorry Wyld, I had no clue he was quoting you, my apologies.

soul2share -> RE: Is the term BBW annoying? (3/15/2011 6:16:02 PM)

{sigh}  What school vacation are we in now?????  Or is it another snow day?????

Labels suck.....why certain men seem compelled to post crap like this thread and the similar one out there never seems to amaze me.  It seems that fat threads run in cycles, and like it or not, the two newbies seem to have started it again.  Having read thru both threads, it is obvious that fat threads may be all we can expect from them...and the sad thing is they just don't get what it is everyone's saying.

I love my hide feature......one can only hope they like theirs too!

I responded purely to what you have exactly said. I would never reply to someone based on the implication of others.

You have said more than enough to justify my comment, which, by the way, was in reference to the post where you called the other fat thread starting guy, numbnuts and another poster commented that the two of you seemed to not be getting along.

As for my other comments below, Wyld clarified that you were quoting her, which was not evident since you did not use the quote function correctly.

It has nothing to do with you. That is how the term 'fatty' is usually used. If you use it, that is what many if not most people will think.
quote:

That's just ridiculous, I don't go up and say 'hey bald person' either, I say 'Alright Dave'.
Oh, but you do refer to the guy across that room that you don't know as 'that baldy over there', right?

DCWoody -> RE: Is the term BBW annoying? (3/15/2011 6:19:57 PM)

FR - I try to use the forums inbuilt quote system but a lot of the time it breaks/repeats itself/generally fucks up(if anyone knows what causes the thing where it pastes random sections of what you're trying to quote over again mixed in with repeats of the post you're trying to quote, I'm all ears). So often I end up using old fashioned "" instead. Apologies for any confusion, but I always figured it was fairly clear. They are called quotation marks and all that....

Ya know girl, sometimes (like this post here) you get that whole naughty teacher thang going on and I can think of nothing more than bending you over the desk and giving you the meany greeny winky.
SLURP~

P.S. I hope wyld is the assistant teacher cuz I am getting some hard core girl-girl-troll fantasies FUKIN FLYING!

I am an optimist not a pessimist, but I am also a realist. It seems to me that any post that questions the lovely fluffy clouds what a marvelous and perfect group we are gets totally buried under an avalanche of over protective nonsense.
Obesity= health problems
Big does not =beautiful

From HCM's journals;

"why is it that nearly everyone called lil or little is the size of a bus?"

" Ladies,in particular straight ladies, what's with the poetry and pictures of flowers? Most men don't like poetry or flowers so who are you trying to attract?"

Seems like HCM has issues with women period

If you highlight a section of a post AND use the quote button, you will get duplicate quotes in the reply box. The issue is not the quote function.

Ya, I can see a lot of it was just misunderstanding, no worries, to be more specific my objections are to calling me dumb, and - (quoting you here)
"For every man like the OP and others who are not attracted to BBW's"
"But continue your hating; it is simply, the last acceptable prejudice and quite the trend to rag on BBW's"
"Final comment: we are all entitled to like or hate whatever we want. What we are not allowed to do is be an asshole about it.

And those who start fat threads fit that term to a fat T. "

EDIT:fixing some of the quote functions weirdness.
