Character holds more importance to me than intelligence or smarts.  It's what one does with the intelligence or smartness he/she possesses that matters to me.

First, there's a wide variance of "intelligence" (as you've rightly noted) and people often don't really mean "intelligence" when they say it. What they means is a breadth of information about the topics they enjoy discussing.

In some cases it is nice to discuss things we both are knowledgeable about but I enjoy more learning things I don't know or know little about that they may be able to convey to me in some way. I'm all for learning from people but I have to be sure you know what you're talking about and aren't just talking out your ass like many do.

I wanna’ girl that is sooo dumb, she doesn’t know what we are doing is illegal, immoral, fattening and that she will be going to hell if there is a god.  Alternatively, I want a smart bitch that is soooo kinky she wants to do all that illegal, immoral or fattening stuff anyway because it feels so good..

So.... lying about who one is. Not good.

Got it.

I'm going to assume this was directed to the person who suggested I dumb it down. If this was to me, I'm confused, as I'm not dumbing down.

No, it was a re-writing of everything everyone is saying. We are going on and on and on, saying the same stuff when it all boils down to this: Lying about who one is... not good.

Thanks for checking.

If you want someone dumber, only low self-esteem rings a bell as to why. Then you don't want that someone, you just want to feel superior. So different from wanting a relationship.

I admit I go for people who are smarter than I am, not because I look for the smarter ones only, but because I can't stay away from their differently colored lightbulbs once they shed their light on me, xDD. Due to that different intelligence types thing you mentioned, however, I have been surprised more than once. That's why I don't look for them, but stick to them. Not all like, bubblegum, but yes, quite.

I wouldn't like a relationship in which I had to stop every once in a while and explain. I don't like that. It bores me. You know, I usually just say random things that pop into my mind, and few people follow, so when someone does understand, well hell if I'm going to lose them.

I don't know what people get from "dumber" ones.
(Put in quotes because I don't really call anyone dumb. It's a complex word for such a tiny sentence.)

I hate when women dumb it down. It's manipulating. I want someoe who is intelligent and shows it. That's how I know her submission, when it happens, is real.
Even though I have limited lifestyle experience to draw on, this happens in vanilla relationships as well. I won't deal with it for long once I know it's happening.

Just tell me what you want straight up. Don't try to trick me into doing it for you like a dog.

That could apply to a whole slew of other preferences. Want to control a partner in your relationship? "Only low self-esteem rings a bell as to why." Want a partner who's shorter than you? "Only low self-esteem rings a bell as to why." Want a partner who's less sexually experienced than you? "Only low self-esteem rings a bell as to why."

Then you don't want that someone, you just want to feel superior.

This is a curious note on a website that caters to authority dynamics.

The continuing crux here is that we've become so apt to tie "intelligence" and "human worth" together that we fail to treat "intelligence" as its own multi-faceted skillset (parts of which some people may not want).

Huh? How is that manipulating? Did you mean "condescending"? And, if so...how many other WIITWD-related acts can just as easily qualify?

Interestingly, this (or what will soon be left of it) strikes me as a very good example of how "intelligence" is easily malleable to become merely what a person wants to hear or tied to other irrelevant traits (such as tact or a genteel demeanor). Accuracy tends to take a backseat to amicability (and, consequently, that becomes the newer, more favorable "definition" of intelligence when used colloquially). It's actually a main reason why I tend to view the use of the term "intelligence" suspiciously anymore.

Wait, wait, looks around with a very puzzled expression...women can think?

Are you sure?
I'm kinda dubious at best, cuz everytime I ask a slave/sub what's on her mind all I get back is a mumbled, "Nothing, Sir."
Hear anything long enough, sooner or later you start to think maybe there's some truth at the bottom of it. :-)

I sought and found one. My motivation was a hypothesis.
The basis of the hypothesis was these assumptions:
a) Most of the problems people have they create for themselves.
b) Simple minds create simple problems.
The hypothesis was that a simple minded partner would have simple problems.
That much proved true but what I found past that was the simplicity or complexity of a problem has nothing to do with how much emotional energy someone will waste on it. I was looking for someone who could just enjoy life. My mistake was in supposing that enjoyment and problems we related in a certain way. I supposed that if a person did not have problems then they would be happy, and fun to be with. Now I realize how problems are self-inflicted for the drama they provide. I learned that intelligence or the lack of it do not correlate to having problems, and furthermore that for some people, having problems is what they prefer doing to having fun without any problems. Now I ignore intelligence altogether as a factor and look for fun. Fun smart women, and fun dumb women are equivalent for my purposes. My next step will be to ignore women altogether and just have fun regardless. Ignoring women is a challenge because I am attracted to them. It has to do with sex , is my guess.
