How about the scrotum faced Alan Sugar? He's not busy in between series of The Apprentice since NotNew Labour left power.
Although, if dead people are acceptable, we could dig up Sid James and put a Speilberg robot up his arse. That'd be a vote winner: the British love Sid James the way Michael Jackson used to love underage boys...

Welcome to the desert of the real.

Gee! That's a wonderful phrase RealOne. I'm quite taken with it.

Are you sure you aren't a French post-structuralist philosopher in disguise?

nah...

I borrowed that from the movie the matrix.

Its whats left when you strip away all the bullshit the aristocracy and big kids on top of the pile created for all the little kids to believe since the beginning of power.

Never been to a penile colony.   Have to give it a think.

So do you, MH, think that Koussa's defection has any likeness to Hess', and regardless of that, do you think that the power structure is beginning to crumble over yonder?

Or are we bound to hear chapter and verse of mardy nutsuckers for the next 10 years?

I used to have that Dead kennedys album that came with the poster of the penile colony...

I doubt that Koussa has to worry about being sent back at the moment, somehow. Watching the situation play out, I'm wondering if we might not have two or three separate Libyas this time next year...

My take on that area is that they might be wanting to split into their own shires (my bad, tribes, replete with caliphs) in a more cozy local relationship, and 3 might not be the largest number possible there, or anywhere in the mid countries.

True enough. Giving the tribes more autonomy would solve a lot of the problems, but I doubt that the poorly dressed despot would be up for that one.

Don't you even think about it. We ceased being a colony a long long time ago!

Not to us you didnt.

Anyhow I have a major gripe. Although we sent you some of our convicts, it was unfair to send us Rolf Harris in return.

Without Rolf Harris and animal hospital I don't know what the BBC would have shown on TV during the late 90's.

It's their own fault for giving all of the old Doctor Who stories to UK Gold.

There were a lot of shitawful comedy sketch shows (mostly broadcast in the wee hours) that were even worse, sadly...

Though I do think they get mostly exonerated for those dreadful sins by Nick "crap 'tache" Cave and Ed "I used to be in the Saints, me" Kuepper...

I remember drooling over Paul Hogan in his ripped shirt and shorts watching late at night, but then I wa susually to drunk to do much else. That was before the movies came out.
I stopped watching neighbours when I left to move to canada, but my daughter used to love it as a baby, shes now 25 so thats how long ago it was!
