i'v discused this topic before, and it came up again not so long ago, and it got me wondering what folk here thought about the nazi uniform fetish thing that seems to be going on right now, i think it's sexy, and i'm not a nazi, (and i know how wrong it is!)
i was was wondering what peoples oppinions were, and if its as common a fetish as i think it is or if its just the folk i know..

Have run a scene as a Nazi officer interrogating a female spy caught in the act... found it fairly intense and so did she... would love to continue the scene, but it's her choice to continue it, not mine...

Personally? I think its very erotic. Any facist-communist uniform conveys the same feeling. Why? Because they are seen as evil, and forbidden is my guess. They are also quite well put together, and just scream dominance.... Although I wouldnt mind seeing mine in a nice variation with a short latex skirt or something :)

I've been to many events around Europe and seen many Nazi uniforms worn over the years and not just recently. In the seventies you could buy genuine Nazi uniforms in the army dump stores in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, my friend bought a couple of SS uniforms at the time, the whole regalia and sold them for a handsome profit some years later. I haven't seen genuine ones for sale for some time now. The sadistic decadance that surrounds SS uniform makes them a prime target for fetish wear.

Dirk Bogarte wearing his SS in the Night Porter had my girlfriend of the time positively drooling and Charlotte Rampling did the same for me. However, I don't have one myself and never worn one.

Mel Brooks does quite well using Nazi references and costumes in his movies. It's a key element of his long running play The Producers. Hate and prejudice is in your heart and mind, not in your costume. It's not something that appeals to me to the point of participation, but a consensual partner, within or with prior approval if your scene requires a club setting have at it.

Unless the symbol, not exclusive to the Nazis as I'm sure you know, is an essential ingredient, maybe you'd consider the polished leather uniform look with all the trappings EXCEPT the swastika. There are all manner of custom or uniform play; nurses, school girl; the "Nazi" look, taken in the same context should be considered the same way. Unlike if you went for the "Caligula" look, there are still people alive or with relatives alive to which the "Nazi scene" would be a hard limit to watch let alone participate. As long as you are aware and sensitive to that you'll be prepared for the reactions you get. Like walking a slave through the mall in a collar at the end of a leash; some with be disgusted, some may challenge you, some will laugh, and some won't look up.

When you have enough confidence not to care, you'll be ready to act upon your fantasy. But that's true with any scene.

Personally, dressing like a nazi is going too far for me.  If someone were to dress in a militaristic way ect, I'd love it, but the nazi taboo is a little too much for me.

it is the uniform i like, not the swastika itself.. its the whole costume. i'm in to the captured spy thing, not race play btw, that isnt my thing.
the uniform is beautiful, the people who wore them origanly were monsters.

The whole racial genocide, aryan superiority, emaciated humans in a concentration camp, eliminating parasitic subhumans, anti-semitism, anti-slavism, homophobic, persecution of minorities, and widespread cruel ideology and agenda that the Nazi uniform represents, just isn't "hot" for me or mine. In fact, it sickens my stomach beyond compare. But then, I'm kind of that way with any kind of hate group or the symbols that represent such. When I see people dressed that way, I dismiss myself and mine from their company. Our time is better spent elsewhere.

I hate to mention the 3 stooges but Moe Howard does an excellent Hitler in one of their 20 minute short films. It is comedy satire but a great job by Howard.

The gestapo were the secret police.  They didn't wear uniforms.  It was the SS which had the snazzy uniforms.  But otherwise, I agree entirely with you.  Well dressed evil is still evil.

Ah, I disagree, they did indeed wear uniforms, Harry. Personally, I think they had snazzy getups, but were evil beyond belief.... it would be hard for me to wear one of the unis.

I tend to associate "symbols" with what they stand/stood for, so for me it is a turn off. I don't think I could get beyond the atrocities commited in the name of that symbol. But that is just me.

You are correct sir! Don't you remember from the documentary about German prison camps that used to be on TV - "Hogan's Heroes". The Gestapo officer was Major Wolfgang Hochstetter and his snappy black outfit.

"KLINK - VHAT iz 'dis' man doing here?"

Edited to add: The actor who played Major Hochstetter was Jewish, as was Colonel Klink, General Burkhalter and Sargent Schultz Doubt their costumes affected or related to their feelings about the Nazi atrocities.

Tradition is very important to me, my grandfather shot Nazis and who am I to buck tradition.  You want to dress up as an authoritarian asshole who loves to torture, kidnap, conquer, and kill, dress up like a Republican.
