There is a difference bewteen the 2 parties voters.Democrats rely on a mix bag of voters.A rather diverse coalition of voters.Liberals, minoritys, women, considerate, passionate voters.Republicans usually rely on the same type of voters.Older whites, those who don't want change, the biggots, the depressed and anrgy voters.

While Democrats are the party of peace and happiness, getting such a diverse group of voters to vote at 1 time is tough.Thats usually because these people actually have something else to do with their life. While Republicans voters are very well organized.Especially the older white votes. These people have nothing better to do and since they don't want progress, they have that extra time to come out and vote.

2012 will be an interesting election for America. Will Obama be able to bring out the record number of voters that he did in 2008?Will the GOP continue to use the Tea Partys vote for their advantage and bring out the more angry voters?Only time wil tell.

The greatest menace to our civilization is the conflict between giant organized systems of self-righteousness - each only too delighted to find that the other is wicked - each only too glad that the sins of the other give it pretext for still deeper hatred. ~Herbert Butterfield

And here I thought the Republican voters all wore three piece suits, (men and women), and that the men drove Cadillacs and the women Mercedes Benz's! Boy was *I* ever stereotyping there!
"Depressed and angry!" How could I miss something so,..... obvious!

P.S. ..."and will Obama be able to bring out record numbers of voters?
Oh I don't think there's going to be any problem in that area!

Now Lucy,

On the plus side you should note Charles has progressed to structured sentences and paragraphs.

That's funny, I always thought Democrats appealed to the laziest, and lowest life had to offer, hence the diversity.

If thats all you thought Democrats were about, you should have listened better in school.  (or perhaps, look beyond FOX?)  I'm not a democrat or a republican (but I do lean left and am liberal), but I got more out of the definition of "Democrat", than that!

Your confusing 'Democrats' with 'Libertarians'. Democrats seem to work for a living, its the Libertarians that want everything for free (just as long as the rest of us work to support them).

Hope that helps you, subrob.

Yeah, I'm pretty lazy and I love free shit.

Did you have a point there somewhere?
