Too bad we couldn't set up DYB on a date with,...Anrea Dworkin.
"So DYB, did you learn anything on your date with Andrea Dworkin?"
"Yeah, two things, one, never get in a buffalo-wing eating contest with her and two, Ann Coulter is a Goddess!"

Dworkin died in 2005. And while she was anti-porn her stance actually corrected a lot of the abuses of women in the porn industry.

Choke on a chicken wing did she?

What a load of crap.  The problem is that the word "cares" in the first sentence means "taxes to support".  There...that's what being a liberal is.  Conservatives believe you should be able to secure your own health care, your own housing and be the primary educator of your children.  As far as civil rights are concerned, the party of civil rights is the republicans; note Abraham Lincoln and Dwight D. Eisenhower.  Giving an entitlement only creates a dependency on the entitled.  Those weak people will fight to the death to keep their entitlement even though their country is bankrupt, the well has run dry and their system has failed; Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, Great Britain and the United States.  What happens when your debt is 300% of your GDP?  You cease to be a country.  And that is where all of the aforementioned countries age going.  RIP America

You know, I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure a whole lot of Republicans are receiving Social Security checks.

Not to mention Medicare.

The last sentence of your first paragraph demonstrates the difference between the 2 party's voters as well as anything. Democrats rely on attacking those who don't agree with them.

You really are hilarious sometimes, you are attacking Democrats by claiming they attack those who don't agree with them.

Way too funny!

Hi Charles,

I thank you for your brilliant post.  Someone who posted some of the identical content is a guy named Jerry Nadler D NY.  At least I think the fool is from NY.  He sent out some mass mailing about repealing DOMA and I had to write him back.  Here is a copy of my letter to Jerry Nadler:

Dear Jerry,

You are an idiot.  "Marriage" is defined as the union of a man and
woman joined together in a state of matrimony.  Who the hell are you
to change the definition of the word.  This is a matter of language,
not equal rights.  If you are going to expand the definition of the
WORD marriage, who says where the definition stops?  If gays and
lesbians can marry, why then can't a man marry two bisexual girls who
also love each other?  (Because it would be bigamy, congressman, if
you didn't know the answer.)  Why can't a woman then marry her Great
Dane or a man marry his favorite tree?  You cannot be so obtuse to not
understand this.

America favors that people go through life in pairs.  That is easy
enough to understand, isn't it?  There are certain rights afforded to
married couples with respect to income tax, estate taxes, death
benefits, health benefits and more.  Should there be a vehicle by
which gays, lesbians, transexuals, heterosexuals who eschew the
concept of marriage and others be able to enjoy these same benefits
when they are engaged in monogamous relationship?  Yes.  And that
vehicle is called a "Civil Union" or a "Domestic Partnership
Agreement" or a "Super-Beautiful-Rainbow-Love-Castle"...whatever.  The
point is that you create a vehicle in addition to the vehicle known as
marriage to enable that.  You don't put marriage on a slippery slope
of definitional gymnastics.  My God, man, how did you get elected to
Congress???

Please take me off of your mailing list.

Very truly yours,

How very Rick Santorum of you.

Santorum (sexual neologism) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The word santorum is a sexual neologism for a "frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex," and was proposed by readers of American humorist and sex-advice columnist Dan Savage in 2003 to "memorialize" then-Republican U.S. Senator Rick Santorum from Pennsylvania due to the controversy over his statements on homosexuality.[/link][link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santorum_%28sexual_neologism%29#cite_note-Savage_Love_June_12-0]The word became a successful Google bomb when Savage created a website for it, which unseated the Senator's official website as the top search result for his surname on the Google web search engine. Savage asked his readers to submit new definitions for the term.

So draw some bright lines, Charles.  Everyone with an autistic kids brings that kid to New Jersey.  It is a huge business in this state and kids are over diagnosed without fucking shame!!!  How do I know that?  Because I have fought for children to have that classification, that label, to be removed from school files at endless IEP's.

So what are your bright lines rules?  If a person has two arms, two legs, ten fingers and toes and an IQ within the normal bell curve, how much money should that person receive without working for it?  Well...Charles, you do realize that the next argument is going to be "well sure, he is physically normal but he is "emotionally" impaired!!!"  Ok...so now define emotional impairment with a bright line rule.

You people are soooo funny.  Try not to deal in such absolutes.  Nobody opposed the mentally retarded person from being suplemented if not entirely supported for life or any one of the millions of other people that are sclerotic or insane or maimed.  The problem is the abuse is larger than the whole.

You know, I'm really sick of people making these broad, sweeping statements on here with no documentation.

So whatcha got?

No one of substance in the media seems to be asking either, since its a Dem in the Oval Office none of the really hard questions are being asked at all.

You mean like those really hard questions you and other conservatives didn't ask while we were searching for the phantom wmd's?

Thats why I bolded the words entitlement when speaking of SS and medicare.  They are entitlements for the elderly.  He was against entitlements, but those are entitlements too.  And not only will he be more than anxious to collect them, like it or not, he pays for them now, since he said he works. (and some people call the supporting of handouts like that socialism...yet will cling to that "socialist entitlement" and never even make the connection, or really don't care to talk about it.

That's exactly what I'm saying,

After 9/11 there was nearly total support behind Bush's bullshit about Iraq because people were scared.

That includes the media and opinion polls.

Do I really need to pull up the links from something so recent?  Or are you just trying to bluff your way through something you know is true?

It wasn't until much later that questions were raised.

WTF are you referring to. Beside Clinton and Gore and everyone else in the world saying that Saddam posed a serious threat to his own people, pushing public opinion against Saddam... saying that he had used WMDs on his own people, and that he posed a threat to his neighbors, to the USA and to the world at large, every conceivable question had been asked about Saddam Hussein.

Do you forget that he took an entire nation hostage? That he was a brutal mass murdering tyrant? Whose sons raped  any woman they desired? The atrocities went on and on, and the Dems agreed on that point, because it is and it was completely irrefutable.

He had no WMD's since the Gulf War when Daddy Bush and Cheney both agreed that regime change in Iraq would cause more problems than it was worth.

A prophecy that has proven true.
