Im saying that if you want to debate you shouldnt expect people to buy shadowy sources such as the 'Green Bay Progressive' or some whacked out far left 'peace activist' type, who is probably busy beating Obamas drums of war right now as we type

Shrugs, typical. Always crying for evidence. Evidence given and you still won't own it. And that is the main difference between republican and Democrat Voters.....

ill Obama be able to bring out the record number of voters that he did in 2008?

No. My nephew (then age 18) and I had several heated discussions about 0bama0, who he voter for with great enthusiasm.
0bama0 has already converted him to Republican; he tells me the mood on campus is radically different now.......
For now, at least, the "youth vote" is thoroughly disenchanted.
He will of course get 97% of the black vote.....

Okay, assuming there is anything to your little partisan fairy tale collection, the Dems were still OVERWHELMINGLY in favor of liberating Iraq, they were in favor of it before GW Bush ever assumed the presidency and they have always funded the effort and continue to fund and support the broader liberation effort to this day. name a Dem, Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Kennedy... they all supported it, and they all had access to every bit of information that was available to our government.

How can they not be in on your vast conspiracy, as well.

You know, I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure a whole lot of Republicans are receiving Social Security checks.

What does "wisdom" have to do with growing old enough to qualify for Social Security ?

It means you've had time to read more Ayn Rand and Robert Heinlein in this case.

Everybody knows bigger and bigger government is better! More taxes, especially to those people who are working hard! Take the money from those greedy bastards and give it to people who won't work for the man. Then we'll be free and we'll show em. Poop on GW's front lawn. Let the muslims be. Put crosses in urine and that's free speech, baby. Get your head right. Michael Moore for president. Charlie sheen for VP. Winning. Warlocks rule! Twin goddesses for every master.

Ignoring the fact that Darwin would seem to postulate a correlation, I was posting to the idea that seniors vote Republican; not so much to the idea that they draw SS.

It's okay. You're young

Complaining about bigger government being a democract thing after the chimp spent eight years doing more to increase the size and powers of government than anybody* in the last forty years is a bit feeble.

*(Even Reagan, who was no slouch at that himself)

Dear Christ: how little self awareness must you have to come out with that?
It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic...

Hi Charles,

I thank you for your brilliant post.  Someone who posted some of the identical content is a guy named Jerry Nadler D NY.  At least I think the fool is from NY.  He sent out some mass mailing about repealing DOMA and I had to write him back.  Here is a copy of my letter to Jerry Nadler:

Dear Jerry,

You are an idiot.  "Marriage" is defined as the union of a man and
woman joined together in a state of matrimony.  Who the hell are you
to change the definition of the word.  This is a matter of language,
not equal rights.

Please take me off of your mailing list.

Very truly yours,

marriage is a 3 party agreement.

man
woman
state (issuing a (license")
License is permission for shit sake.
Freedom American style!
ask fucking permission from the state to get married than include that state as the certifying agent sanctioning the marriage "within" the estate!

people are so fucking mindless now days.

An idiot will ask questions and offer nothing.  They won't advance the argument one way or another.  It is safer for them to ask a question and slink rather than reveal their ability to think critically or research.
