While I think the preacher in FL is a total moron and what he did was terrible. I am having a hard time blaming him for protesters who are killing each other 1/2 way around the world. There are ways of expressing dissatisfaction without having to kill someone to make your point.

Personally I don't think ether this guy or the Phelps should be getting any media coverage out of their trolling. That said I'm not about to blame him because their are religious frootloops out there.

The best way to get rid of Phelps and Jones is to cut off their blood supply - media access. If extremist/fundamentalist Muslims demonstrate and kill cartoonists, WTH did Jones think was going to happen when he burned a Quran? On second thought, maybe the best way to be rid of Jones is to plop him down in Kabul.

FR This is as stooooopid as I thought. The guy was an asshole to burn the book. That has to be one of the most stupid things in the world. Let me put it this way, you have an enemy. We are just putting off the inevitable through fear of coming to the realisation so much of it was a complete waste of life. Also I'd add that Pakistan used to be full of moderates, now they are having members of their parliament killed by extremists. That isn't progress, there was no risk of the happening prior to 2003. Everything we touch turns to crap. What we are missing and what we have always failed to recognise is how these wars inspire people in the region.
