Fatah movement is the offical movmen for the palestinaians & the so called (presdent) have to be from fatah.
the writer i think maybe mistaken by (hamas movement).
but here is a fact, the PLO is larg group of medium Organization some are indeed Muslims & some are Communist.
under the (Palestinian factions) title,
as i said before :
any real Muslim, any good Muslim must have to believe, houner & respect all holy books,
now you may call all of the above just talk but,
Is Father Manuel Musallem a 100 % sure they were Muslim, did he guess or know that?
do you know them to tell that they are Muslim a 100% sure, my only think is they are a bunch of Communist, trying to blame Muslims & force the so called (prime minster) or the former (prime minister) to resine which is done for him & still there is no goverment at the moment.

You have been given reasonable proof of what you asked...I think that is what the well was far. The implication is your society is reacting in a more violent manner to the burning of the Koran then the Christian society reacts to the burning of the Bible....Reacting I may add in a way not sanctioned by the religion itself.

This is true I believe but only in degrees. There has certainly been violent reaction in the Christian community as well.

The initial statement was "bible burning by the truck load."

Evidence was asked for that particular assertion.

Edwynn...maybe ashjor911's grasp of the language made his translation too literal. There is no doubt that the Bible has been burned many times by Muslims without the same type of reaction to the burning of the Koran.

As long as he realizes there is this difference then the point was made.

What was addressed in the immediate following post was evidence for the allegation of "burning bibles by the truckload all over the world."

So, first off, what particular 'grasp' of the language makes a simple clear cut question directed to the immediately prior nonsense "too literal" or not?

I'm a native speaker, Butch, and I had the exact same immediate response as ashjor, whether I got it to the keyboard right away or not. My school grades indicate that my grasp of the language and concepts are both notably above average. And if we wish to continue in this "grasp" vein then I feel the need to point out that what actually transpired was someone politely "calling bull shit," to use the eloquent English language term, on some idiot spewing just that.

In regards to the hypocrisy spoken by one cleric that you rendered as unequivocal proof of hypocrisy of the whole situation and of the entire Muslim faith, what do you think might have happened Butch if you entered "Christian" and "hypocrisy" in your search engine? Zero hits?

As further elucidation to those who fail to grasp much of anything, the question itself contained no denial or proposal that violent acts have not occurred within or amongst some people of the Muslim faith against people or symbols of others' faith. What transpired was one person's plain bullshit followed by another person's plain question. Period.

As to the bunch of links that passes for evidence on discussion boards, that was indeed provided to some extent, though having read through them all I still could not find a single instance of a truckload of bibles being delivered for burning at even one location, much less all over the world.

What about violence of some zealot Muslim sect against Christians? Yes, that's easy to find. Zealot Muslim violence against Jews? That's easy too. Jews' violence against Muslims? About 5,000 pages if you google it. What about Christian violence against Jews? Lots and lots. What about Christian violence against someone who just looks like he might be a Muslim? Lots and lots.

Here's a trick question, kids; Which happened first, the 'Holy Wars' or the Ottoman invasion and settling in the Western Mediterranean countries?

Did you know that violence of one group against another has happened all through history, and that some bit of it was 'religion' based? Quite a shocker! huh?

I am sorry for you loss. But no, I didnt forget 9/11 but that was a terrorist attack. I dont blame all Muslims for the terror attacks in the Uk either, infact Muslims died in both attacks as I recall. Nor do I blame all Catholics and Protestants for the terror attacks in Ireland.

What gets me though is the constant dash to blame 1.5 billion Muslims for the actions of a few.
