ORIGINAL: LafayetteLady ~FAST REPLY~ LadyPact: I have and always will look forward to your posts. They are typically the voice of reason amidst the cackle of snarkyness (sp?) that pervades these boards. Your responses here therefore are surprising, and historically beneath you. So the term "community" being applied to anything on the internet is only 20 years old. Well, that's also approximately how old the internet is. How many other words have definitions that are recent? "Surfing" comes quickly to mind. Twenty years ago "surfing" meant didn't mean what it does. I could probably come up with hundreds of other words that didn't exist until recently in the mannerr they do today. Again, i find the whole thing not worthy of discussion. To me it falls in the same category as the upper/lower case typing common to the BDSM internet, to each their own. As to the OP...perhaps I am seeing your post differently than others. As someone who only joined yesterday, I took your post as a search for others to give you hope that even someone with your "situation" could still find someone who wanted them. If you read between all the other nonsense, I hope you saw that there is indeed hope for you to find that special person for you. In regards to the cross posting, I can't help but wonder why it was ok for Northerngent to cross post his "Justice or Mercy" post without anyone mentioning it or one of the posts being quickly removed. I'm terribly sorry that you were disappointed. (Best snark I can do at this time.) I didn't find the response beneath Me at all. I'd have said just about the same thing to anyone who didn't have the common sense to ask a similar question that led with kink first. The OP is a grown adult (by the looks of him) and in being so, should have the experience with the world at large to know that his 'condition' will matter to some folks and to others it won't. Things don't magically change because now we are talking about kinky folks, rather than vanilla folks. Some people won't date folks they find physically unattractive. Others will. Some people won't enter a relationship with someone who can't please them sexually. Others will. That didn't change just because we're now in kink land. Do we really have to tell grown people this? With no vested interest in someone as a human being, which is the way the OP is coming at this, chances are that folks won't want to date him. Too focused on what he can't do as opposed to what he can do. If someone really walked up to you and his hello was "I'm an ugly old guy with a small, non-functioning dick" are you really going to tell Me that you find that good relationship material? Let Me know the last time that approach actually worked with you and I'll buy you lunch. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Mod Edit of ,,,
