I have and always will look forward to your posts. They are typically the voice of reason amidst the cackle of snarkyness (sp?) that pervades these boards. Your responses here therefore are surprising, and historically beneath you.

So the term "community" being applied to anything on the internet is only 20 years old. Well, that's also approximately how old the internet is. How many other words have definitions that are recent? "Surfing" comes quickly to mind. Twenty years ago "surfing" meant didn't mean what it does. I could probably come up with hundreds of other words that didn't exist until recently in the mannerr they do today. Again, i find the whole thing not worthy of discussion. To me it falls in the same category as the upper/lower case typing common to the BDSM internet, to each their own.

As to the OP...perhaps I am seeing your post differently than others. As someone who only joined yesterday, I took your post as a search for others to give you hope that even someone with your "situation" could still find someone who wanted them. If you read between all the other nonsense, I hope you saw that there is indeed hope for you to find that special person for you.

In regards to the cross posting, I can't help but wonder why it was ok for Northerngent to cross post his "Justice or Mercy" post without anyone mentioning it or one of the posts being quickly removed.

I'm terribly sorry that you were disappointed.  (Best snark I can do at this time.)

I didn't find the response beneath Me at all.  I'd have said just about the same thing to anyone who didn't have the common sense to ask a similar question that led with kink first.  The OP is a grown adult (by the looks of him) and in being so, should have the experience with the world at large to know that his 'condition' will matter to some folks and to others it won't.  Things don't magically change because now we are talking about kinky folks, rather than vanilla folks.  Some people won't date folks they find physically unattractive.  Others will.  Some people won't enter a relationship with someone who can't please them sexually.  Others will.  That didn't change just because we're now in kink land.  Do we really have to tell grown people this?

With no vested interest in someone as a human being, which is the way the OP is coming at this, chances are that folks won't want to date him.  Too focused on what he can't do as opposed to what he can do. If someone really walked up to you and his hello was "I'm an ugly old guy with a small, non-functioning dick" are you really going to tell Me that you find that good relationship material?  Let Me know the last time that approach actually worked with you and I'll buy you lunch.

Toppingfrmbottom -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 10:29:05 AM)

It's like any other place, some people are friendly some are not. I wouldn't expect every one under one "roof" to be friendly, it's a mistake, and a bad assumption on your part.

Poor pitiful cock posts are a dime a dozen around here, people get tired or bored with those who come advertising my cocks so pitiful will a ( insert title here) humiliate me for it or have any use for it.

And as for my comment earlier I guess I felt like peoples comments were rather harsh to the original poster.

LL, was there more that you wanted to add?  I'm only seeing the quotes with the prior comments.

LafayetteLady -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 12:22:41 PM)

My apologies. I post via my phone and apparently the phone went on its own tangent. I will try to re-create what I said and hopefully the mods can take care of the messed up posts.

I wasn't referring to your comments to the OP but rather your comments regarding this being a "community," which I thought was clear from my post.

As for the OP being a grown man....of course he is. However, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he was not looking for wanking material.

Perhaps his condition is new and he is feeling hopeless about his future. Perhaps it isn't a new condition but he was having moments of hopelessness. I know I have developed medical conditions that I didn't have five years ago and those ailments can, at times, make me wonder about future relationships. It's perfectly normal.

The point is, grown up notwithstanding, most people have moments of doubt and sometimes will turn to unlikely places looking for anyone to give them a kind word or some hope for the future.

Remember it takes a lot less effort to throw a drowning man a life vest than it does to push him further underwater. Just a thought.

Lighten up bro, it's just another tiny cock thread.
A.  he is trolling for a hook up using a bullshit topic as an excuse to post a personal ad
or
B. he is getting his kinky kicks talking about his cock and other humiliation issues in public

All this adds up to our right to fuck with him and have some fun.  If it is A, we keep the thread alive furthering its exposure and his ad.  If it is B, he is pulling his pud right now while reading rough, insulting or otherwise humiliating replies.  Either way, it's a win for him.  So chill out, no one cares.  If you stay this tense, you're gonna look older than the OP from stress by the time you hit 23.

ETA, post was written with misinterpreted information

Tygr,
Generally it's good to read the context. She agrees with you. And yet you tell her that her statement is ignorant.

I find it interesing that while I wrote a couple of well-thought out posts regarding the definition of community, you chose not to have a conversation about that. Instead, your only response to the discussion is to try to create an argument - with someone who AGREES with you. Well, it's always good when someone shows who they are.

good luck,
sunshine

hausboy -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 4:04:01 PM)

Hey OP
This is from me--a domestic servant with a small, completely dysfunctional cock  (as opposed to the expensive medical prosthetic devices marketed to transsexual men, which are rather large, dysfunctional cocks)-- you asked if there is any Master who wants you, and what use you could be.....

Here's my answer.
A Master (or Mistress) would not likely want a submissive who appears weak, wimpy, pathetic and desperate.  Unless you are looking for small cock humiliation as RS suggests.....(my suspicion as well).  In which case, happy hunting.

But in fact, if you are just an older sub with a small, dysfunctional cock and you're seriously looking for a Dom/Domme....
Learn some skills.
Domestic skills (can you cook? can you clean? can you drive? can you take care of boots? leathers?.).....sexual skills (my cock is small but my selection of silicone prostethics should please most...I know how to use them....and I spent years dedicated to perfecting my fisting abilities)....find a skill or service (sexual or otherwise) that will be attractive to the type of person you want to attract.  Get good at honing your strengths...and exude that confidence instead of a pathetic "won't please someone take me?"

Unless pathetic is your "thing," in which case, you've mastered that skill beautifully.

LafayetteLady -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 6:25:42 PM)

Thanks Sunshine. Sadly, I missed the whole thing. Frankly, I don't care what people refer to these boards as. Like you, my circumstances have made the internet a primary source of contact with the world at large and due to distance the fastest and easiest way to communicate with my best friend, who lives an ocean away.

It is very easy to become jaded and mistrust nearly everyone. This isn't to say I shy away from calling "bullshit" when I see it ( as many here are aware). It's more that I have consciously chosen to seek the good in people rather than the bad. The ability to judge one's character just dictates what I share with a person or how much contact I have with them.

sunshinemiss -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 6:33:02 PM)

No problem, Lafayette.

As an aside - he writes "fixed" with my post. In fact he fixed his own post. Mine was not altered.

You're going with 'truth in advertising,' NZ?   So if I stick a "beach front property" sign on a plot of swap land, you're buying it?

LafayetteLady -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 7:21:42 PM)

Ok, I think my phone doesn't go for the quotes without messing up. Sorry to all for the mess again.

Perhaps LadyPact you could define for everyone what YOU believe a community is. After all, it is very easy to tell everyone, "no this isn't," but withou defining what you believe a community IS, the comment is pretty baseless. Earlier, you defined how you prioritize people in the world, but that has nothing to do with what is or isn't a "community." When someone is said to be "active in their community," it isn't referring to time spent with family.

So what, in your opinion, DOES qualify as a community?

LadyPact -> RE: Subs with small, dysfunctional cocks. (4/13/2011 8:43:40 PM)

Physical human interaction.
