Lets see:

Are you young…..Yes

Are you inexperienced at life…in relation to others yes

Have you suffered enough pain to be leery of crack…no that is obvious

Do you show respect to and listen to your elders… Not that I can see

Are you good people… I think so.

Now how is any of the above condescending? Now the tea party comment was…I’m not perfect.

yes i am young in years, but i am willing to weigh my experience against yours in the scales of maat and i am sure i won't be found wanting.

one doesn't have to suffer to be leery of crack, one simply must be aware. you read into what i said things that were not said. i never said i do crack, i said i have the right to. there is a difference.

you are right, i don't show respect to my elders. the vast majority of my elders are not worthy of respect. being older merely means you haven't died yet and not dying does not make you worthy of anything in particular, let alone my respect.

thank you for the vote of confidence, i do try to be good people, and i hope those close to me would agree with you for the most part

I'm so old I remember the headlines the day they discovered fire, and I like to think I've picked up a little bit of wisdom along the way. And while i don't completely agree with every point the young lady has made in this thread so far, I do agree with almost every one of them - and even the ones I don't agree with, I'm not very far off of her position. I think she's made some excellent arguments and handled herself very well throughout. If she's lacking maturity, wisdom, or common sense, I certainly don't see any evidence of it here.

Decriminalized at least. Doing so would take some of the strain off our prison system (saving us tax payer $). Rehab is more cost effective, lowers recidivism more effectively than prison and allows users to remain tax paying members of society instead of sucking up 3 squares a day at tax payer expense and in many cases being disenfranchised.. for life.

our condescension and arrogance are noted, and you are shown to be a petty person of little consequence.

i have lived on the road and on the street for 10 years, and thus i feel i have plenty of life experience and have experienced more than my fair share of pain. as to my maturity, well i can do without it if it means drying up and living in fear.

If you want to engage in useful, adult discussion on the benefits of decriminalizing drugs (or not) I'm happy to engage. Other than that, I have no response to your post because frankly, I don't understand it in relation to my own.
