i get stupider emails from dommes than from anybody else. they demand i submit to them immediately, they require i go on cam to prove myself when they contacted me, they order me to send heather to them for proper training (apparently as a switch i can't possibly know how i want my girl to behave), they tell me to put a notice on my profile that i am now under consideration by them (this on their 1st email to me), they send random friend requests and when i just delete them they then write to give me shit about not being a real submissive because a real submissive accepts all friend requests from dommes, they send a email saying "you may ask 3 questions" nothing more, i've been ordered to give my password more times than i can remember, i get at least 1 a day saying only "add me" followed by a yahoo id. they write demanding i send them pictures, they write demanding i post pictures of heather, they write demanding i relocate to them immediately, they write to complain that they looked at my profile 2 hours ago and i have not messaged them yet, they write and then send a 2nd message 5 minutes later bitching because i did not reply to their 1st message yet (when i have not even opened the 1st one), i have been ordered to provide my bank information, i have been ordered to get my labia pierced and to send a photo to prove compliance (on the 3rd email of an exchange).

these are all examples of unsolicited emails, i have yet, to the best of my knowledge, to initiate contact with a domme (i might have, but i don't think so). there's more, but that gives you a good idea of what i mean.

You have considered the possibility that such messages are originate from someone who doesn't exactly match the gender on the profile?

At any rate, those aren't the only messages that you have received from Dominant women.

Notice how no one responded back when I posted from a medical manual that chemo does not inherently cause weight gain.

I have only read to this far into this thread.  Maybe others have answered by now.

I had chemos during four different years.  I cannot answer for everyone else going through chemo, but will try to help you understand.  Walking to the bathroom exhausted me and I needed to rest several hours afterward, either in bed or on the couch.  Walking to the kitchen to get a yogurt exhausted me.  I used to do an 87+ hour work week, working seven days per week even when very ill, and that tiredness wasn't as bad as this was.  Some cancer books suggested exercize to get some energy back and they were full of sh*t.  After my last chemo, it took me a good three years to get some of my old energy back.

I hope you are enjoying yourself here.  Fair is fair, I am enjoying the H out of this thread...and I am not bored anymore.  [;)]  Some of my favorite people have made me almost pee myself from laughing over their witty comments.

Good luck with your search.  (And thank you for making me feel so grateful that I am not young anymore...which was nice as my 47th birthday is just days away.)

I made an account here yesterday and it's already pretty much turned me off on the entire idea of bsdm.

It takes some people a life-time of searching for what they truly need to thrive. That it took you but a single day to discover BDSM is not for you leaves you years to keep searching for what will work for you. Best of luck in your search.

I love you, Bita!

That thought occurred to me too, I'd hate to have my fat, diabetic self in the hands of someone who doesn't seem to have the brains that God gave a tomato.

Fast reply because I don't like to read troll threads... after reading just the original post, I say:

YAY!!! That means there's more BDSM for everyone else!!!!!!! [sm=cute.gif]

I said as an EMT his judgemental attitude was shitty as hell.

I believe his claim is "fire fighter". I know he mentioned running into burning buildings and EMT's don't do that. At least not in Michigan. Of course EMT's do have to take basic disease classes along with the fire fighters so I don't really buy that he does either. But I just thought I should point that out. Oh and I agree, the attitude really sucks.

Its in your own post above, boi.

As a firefighter/emt I go on calls every shift, 80% of them medical calls, and do you know what I see? A lot of overweight people with medical issues that could have been avoided if they had taken care of themselves. There is no excuse to be fat. None. There is no medical condition that causes you to be fat. Slow thyroid? Work. Harder

Ok, I missed that and wondered why people were using both. Here they are two different jobs but I get the feeling things are a bit more relaxed where he comes from.

Who was it that had in their sig line...

How does it feel to be on a site where women proudly claim their status as sluts and STILL not be able to get any?

Seems kinda appropriate...

it had crossed my mind, but one must assume the gender presented is the actual one in the absence of any evidence to the contrary. i do, however, find the assumption that such messages must have come from a male to be a little disturbing. being an asshole is not limited to males, just take me for example. absolutely correct ladypact, i did say "most", not all. i am not the only one to have had this experience however. there are two sub women i have discussed this with and they have a similar tale to tell.

and i wasn't referring to messages i get from the boards. those are pleasant and entertaining, even the ones telling me to shut the fuck up [:D]

What's the big deal about the weird messages?  Subs go through that all the time.  Shit, I figure just about everyone would get messages like that just due to spam.

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: This place is lol (4/20/2011 7:01:31 PM)

I'm with you, Thorny. Ya gotta weed through the crap to find something worth spending time reading & replying to. It's not personal. They send those out to anybody & everybody.

Assholishness is absolutely an equal opportunity for both genders.  At the same time, there are males that have admitted to creating female profiles specifically related to what you have been receiving.  We'll have to split the difference.

I was just saying this on another thread.  Folks who regularly participate on the forums very rarely send crap.  Messages from those who stick to the other side, well........

Steroids will not cause you to be fat. You taking steroids and then not adjusting your eating and workout habits will.

You are a stupid fuck ! < and I have never name called anyone on this board >

Do you have a disease or illness that required you to be on steroids or chemotherapy ?

Well, I do and have been on steroids and chemotherapy, and so have many others on this board. Let me tell you this my ignorant friend : After you have spent a year or three on high dose Prednisone < or other steroids > and are recieving chemotherapy you can tell all us old, fat, unfit people how easy it is.

Why don't you try it. It was soo fullfilling and self indulgent to get a moonface, loose my neck and blow up like a balloon, while barely being able to eat, puking every day of chemo, being in a state of metabolic malnutrition for three years, a tanked immune system, low RBCs, fatique that makes you barely able to go to the bathroom without wanting a nap. Not too mention the mental energy it takes to stay positive and try and help your body heal itself. And the weight keeps coming and the oportunistic infections set in month after month setting you back, yet again. And in my case : the edema from the disease itself and the edema from the meds.. you tell me how excercise and diet will help that.

Excercise ? I worked 40-50 hours a week while doing this, it's all I had in me.
Eat right ? When food is an unpleasant neccesity, you will find what foods your body can actually handle and digest, any nutrients you can get are a plus.

When you, my little whippersnapper, have actual knowledge, let alone experience, with what it is like to live thru something like that... come on back and visit.

* YOUR * thread was amusing until I ran across that little pearl from you. I don't know a vanilla girl, your age and weight preference, who would spend more than one hour with you and your shitty attitude.

This has been the most entertaining thread! It just goes to prove that just because you are young and slim that life isn't all good for you. After all, i'm old and fat and i have had (and have) two wonderful masters in my life, that appear to love me just the way i am - old and fat. They must be myopic - because i'm sure their love had nothing to do with my personality or nature. ...... silly them!

Life (and sex) is better after 50!

It has been entertaining... and if life and sex is better after 50 I look forward to aging disgracefully, its pretty damn sweet now so what it will be when older is utopia hehe

Take it from me, darlin...after 50 life gets fabulous!!

Id agree wholeheartedly if it wasn't for My damn knees. 13 years of martial arts tournaments and coaching when I was younger............

ok, i will amend my original statement: the majority of those professing to be dominant women tend to be idiots.

don't get me wrong, there have been a few nice dommes, and there is one with whom i have become quite good friends (i'd probably be chatting with her right now if my yahoo would sign me in!!).

I said there is no medical condition that causes you to be fat.

What about Cushing syndrome? You know what happens with C.S., right? No? Alright, skippy, sit down, pay attention and I'll attempt a condensed, crash course in "Day 1 A&P stuff."
Here's the short version .. a pituitary tumor causes an overproduction of adrenocorticotropic hormone{ACTH} .. which overstimulates the adrenal gland ... which causes the over secretion of cortisol. <~ How easy was that episode of connect the dots??
{UNLESS, you have NFI what excess cortisol causes. Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? Hmm, I'll take "causes excess adipose tissue" for $500.00, please, Alex.}
That's right, one of the signs/symptoms  of Cushing syndrome is "central obesity." {Do I need to define that term for you, slick, or can you solve that brain buster on your own?} BTW, the excess cortisol can also cause diabetes. Luckily, you're immune from tumors, right?

Anywho, there is also Hypothyroidism. This is when your thyroid gland doesn't produce enough T3/T4. Essentially, these hormones regulate metabolism. SO, what did you say someone needs to do if they have NO/ faulty metabolic regulation? Oh, right, exercise more. {That will really show that pesky non-functioning endocrine organ who's boss!}

Also I'm sure you'll think this is a stretch because there "may" be a link between obesity and Polycystic ovary syndrome. However, that link is unproven, but it has been proven that P.C.O.S. does cause metabolic syndrome. A symptom of which is, {you guessed it, pal}, "central obesity." {You remember that definition from my explanation of Cushing, right?}

I'm not the one at risk of diabetes.

If I understand correctly, you're implying that obesity = diabetes? Interesting. So .. when an perfectly healthy 4 year old is diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus, it has nothing to do with a faulty pancreas/destruction of the beta cells in the islet of Langerhans?
Wow, not only have you just blown my mind, you've also rewritten the diagnostic criteria for Diabetes Mellitus. {Way to go, little buddy! AMA & AJM, here you come!}

{Based on what you've said so far, I'd say you need a bolus of potassium chloride. Stat.}

Steroids will not cause you to be fat.

Alrighty, here we go ~> Yes, they will.

{Do you need a speedy refresher course in the effects of corticosteriods? 'Coz, I thought I covered it well enough with regards to cortisol. Or are you failing to make the connection in the similarity of these words ~> Cortisol. Corticosteroid. Glucocorticoid. etc. By the way .. certain antidepressants, and anti-seizure meds can, also, "cause you to be fat".}

Lie down, amature, before you hurt yourself.

tie him up so you CAN administer that to him!  (Is it lethal?)

Actually, he's almost cute enuf for me to have my way with him....

A gay friend says (upon spying the random cutie) "I'd let him 'do' me."  Well, said friend is a bottom, so I'm constantly amending that to be "I'd let him beg me to 'do' him." LOL!

ETA: intravenous bolus,

a relatively large dose of medication administered into a vein in a short period, usually within 1 to 30 minutes. The IV bolus is commonly used when rapid administration of a medication is needed, such as in an emergency; when drugs that cannot be diluted, such as many cancer chemotherapeutic drugs, are administered; and when the therapeutic purpose is to achieve a peak drug level in the bloodstream of the patient. The IV bolus is not used when the medication must be diluted in a large-volume parenteral fluid before entering the bloodstream or when the rapid administration of a medication, such as potassium chloride, may be life-threatening. DARN!

LifestyleCurious -> RE: This place is lol (4/20/2011 9:29:43 PM)

Far be it from me to jump into the middle of such a heated conversation... but running into fires can provide it's own rewards...

Both of you are correct, essentially anyways. Obesity can lead to and does exponentially increase the risk of diabetes - to the extent that once could conceivably assert that it does lead to diabetes. At the very least, it causes metablic syndrome which has been classified as precurser to diabetes, as well as hypertension and a whole host of other issues too.

Childhood diabetes, usually classified as Type I, has somewhat of a different mechanism than Type II - generally adult onset. But the both of you already know that quite well. BUT anyone who simply states that "there is no medical condition that causes a person to be fat" really does need to start taking those nice little round pills again - they really do help the delusions to go away... and I'd suggest NOT sticking your head in the sand because the gray matter between your ears will get more clogged and useless than it already has become.

The marvels of modern medical science - and so many still live in the dark ages and hold fast to the belief that the world is flat and you'll fall off it you reach the edge.
