I recently read a bio of Jimmy Stewart so I am re-watching his movies I have not seen for awhile. Here's a great one: Jimmy with the Duke himself in "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance"

A John Ford western, and just a great story.

I don't believe I have heard Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable, Cary Grant, Paul Newman or any of those old fogies in movies from 50 years ago use the term LOL.

"Here's looking at you, LOL"

"Frankly my dear, I don't give a LOL"

As someone said in Cool Hand Luke to the delicious Paul Newman, "What we have here is a failure to communicate".

Said in the best southern accent, of course.

You didn't even get the quote right. There is no "a" in the quote.

Also, I never said there are no medical conditions that cause weight gain. I said there is no excuse to be fat, and that includes medical illness.

Don't be such a douchebag. I know, you can't help it. Your reply is an epic fail.

There were two versions via Wikipedia:

The phrase "What we've got here is (a) failure to communicate" is a famous line from the 1967 film Cool Hand Luke.

There are actually two close variants of the line that are spoken at different points in the film. Nuances of accent, delivery, and intonation aside, they are as follows:

"What we've got here is...failure to communicate." — spoken by The Captain, the imperious prison warden played by Strother Martin
"What we've got here is a failure to communicate." — spoken by Luke, the reprobate inmate played by Paul Newman near the film's climax

And blow jobs? Are they lining up for blow jobs too?

On second thought, I'd be careful about that if *I* was the OP.

Both are said. But *the* quote does not have an "a" in it. And the quote goes on to include what is pretty much the tagline to the movie. So you can take your "epic fail" and do with it what you do with most everything else - eat it.

Why can't people be this verbal with their opinions face to face? It would make it so much easier to get that fat fighting exercise I desperately need... And I would feel so much younger as well! I'd still be creepy of course, but hey, it works for me.

i think that in my approaching old age my eyes must be failing me. i mean they are still 20/20 and i don't need glasses for anything, but still there must be something wrong with them. coz where's the fat man?

i'm seeing a guy with a good athletic body that appears to be capable of dropping bad trolly dolly on his arse.

but my opinion accounts for nothing of course because i'm fat and old, or was fat but nearly old or something or other. forgive me i'm confused.

Awwwwww....I thought you don't watch old movies enough to comment. We know that Google is your friend here but stop trying to play with the older kids.

You do realize that we are just batting you around like a little gray mouse, right?

To be fair I'm loving this thread... Lots of curvaceous beautiful women to drool over...

Plus I'm waiting for the moment the OP realises that all these young, gorgeous, slender, kinky women don't want a little boy, they want men.

That said the OP is doing a wonderful job of demonstrating just why it is that little boys are undesirable. And a good job of showing why it is he's single in the first place :D

You do realize if we were keeping score I'd be ahead, right? Especially when considering I'm not the one at risk of diabetes.

again you prove your ignorence and spout rubbish. you are just as much at risk of developing diabetes as we all are. it is not just a weight or diet related diease.

the only thing you are ahead on is ignorence, which must be so much bliss in your world where you are king.

what the rest of us in this thread are ahead on is people who fancy us and want to play with us.

can i get you some worms?

You must be right. That is probably the genesis of his anger and frustration. Guys who own little pink mouse like things, tend to be very bitter. Poor thing.

So you are saying that you didn't post this...

As a firefighter/emt I go on calls every shift, 80% of them medical calls, and do you know what I see? A lot of overweight people with medical issues that could have been avoided if they had taken care of themselves. There is no excuse to be fat. None. There is no medical condition that causes you to be fat. Slow thyroid? Work. Harder.

Maybe a few memory exercises would help in addition to those biology classes
