It's far more than not substantiated.

It smells of a complete hoax.

We have a girl who will not identify herself handing these out at a school she will not identify.

But that doesn't stop you from posting it anyway.

I think the original article would have made a great thread (without the slanted caveat that came with it). Can the left/right finger pointing stop and MAYBE talk about freedom of religion?

The thread went where the OP intended.

We have freedom of Religion.  Not all countries have that freedom and Christianity has never been the only religion the Chinese have cracked on.

Isnt this part of the reason why people came to America to begin with? To escape religious persecution? The US government has come out against China for these actions...

The US government has repeatedly criticised China's overall rights crackdown, while the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, an autonomous government board, last week condemned the actions against Shouwang.

Short of war, what else can be done?

Status: offline 		Quite simply, China are watching what is going on in the Arab world. They have cracked down, not only on Christians, but on any form of dissent. Bloggers, Writers, Artists, Religions, Just about anyone who dare speak out has been jailed or just vanished. They make Saddam look laid back and it angers me the west have rushed eastwards to trade with such a regime.

We have freedom of Religion.  Not all countries have that freedom and Christianity has never been the only religion the Chinese have cracked on. 



Have you forgotten that China SAYS that they have freedom of religion?

To be honest Tazzy, I have not found a story that gives a definitive answer.

On the other hand, it does not matter her reasons. To delve into them makes it a matter of "thought crime." Something I have a strong dislike for.

Essentially, I do not know WHAT she was thinking. Neither does the judge or anyone else. We can only judge her actions.

I do find myself, on occassions agreeing with you on some issues. I also find myself not saying... and I probably shouldsay.. and will do so now... Sanity, its not what you say sometimes, its how you say it.

Depending on the issue, I can be extremely far left, or I can be skirting the center line, sometimes even stepping over on occassions to the right. I do thank you for recognizing that.

Now, the problem I am having is seeing how the Soviet Union, for example, is leftist. Can you explain?
