Actually rml, all I am "condemning" in that particular post is the blatant two faced hypocrisy on display by the left.

It certainly is.

Now we have you condemning what you have repeatedly praised in Iraq.

I guess that whole liberation thing goes out the window when it is done by a President you don't like.

You link to a news story.  This means?

For hypocrisy you might try showing people applauding the act or referring to it as OK.  To really strengthen your point it would be great to show those same people condemning any similar acts which took place previously.

Come now, I would expect better since Sanity and Rich are both well versed in hypocrisy and being hypocrites.

And you don't find any hypocrisy in your own statements regarding Iraq?

I'm not sure Sanity likes you massaging his ass as much as you seem to like doing it.

Got anything to add to the actual subject, Flco?

Oh wait. I forgot. You don't do that, do you?

Why not just send an elite sniper team to take him out instead of blowing up his house and killing kids.

Because an elite sniper is good to about 1000 yards, often less depending on the weather.

How do you get them in unseen, and out alive?

And what do you do Richie?

I mean other than being dismissive of other posters to try and bolster your sad little ego.

I have only rarely seen you add anything constructive to any subject.

Of course you don't see the comment as on what Sanity posted as on the topic.

So predictable

They wanted the body as proof.

No rml, I am and have been extremely consistent in this regard, even though you cannot understand this.

Sorry,  my bad.

I am not OK with just bombing places you think we might be or have been when the attack was launched.

You still want the body.  You kill him in a bombing attack and his personal guard spirits away the remains. His son just starts giving the orders claiming his dad is in a secure location.

Well, Rich, your timing was impeccable.  You posted this shortly before the most successful US-sponsored assassination in history.  IIRC, the only one.

One interesting comment from a CNN poster:

This is exactly the right kind of operation. A small unit of highly trained individuals with good intelligence go in and take out the target with no casualties themselves. Way to go SEAL team ! If this kind of tactic had been used from the beginning we would not have had to get into two extremely expensive and wasteful wars.

Steven, I advocated the same idea in 2004, not that anyone remembers. I said we should let the black op's boys go in and take out all these hate preaching Mullahs right in their own back yards.

I would have thought that instead of arguing over which president is more culpable, you'd be asking this: why have so many Americans died in foreign countries for no obvious gain?

Over here, people aren't pleased that young British lads are dying miles away for something that most of us believe is concerned with trade and the spread of values rather than any threat, to the point where the parents of dead soldiers have attempted to sue the government through the courts.

Seems like a waste of life to me - no matter which political party is running the show.

In fact, until Bush II, that's largely what we did.

No, I don't think that's it, Muse. Events elsewhere seem to have stolen the headlines from this theater. Let us all hope that success on that front doesn't cause anyone to get cocky on this one.
