ORIGINAL: windchymes I fell in love with a show I stumbled across in Netflix a couple years back called "Huff". Hank Azaria, Paget Brewster starred, Oliver Platt and Blythe Danner played great supporting characters. I couldn't wait to get the second season, and was bitterly disappointed to find that they cancelled the series after only a few episodes in that season. I'm still puzzled as to why, but it's worth the watch anyway. Hilarious much of the time, but some really involved plots and outrageous plot twists. Huff was a good show although one thing I couldn't work out which annoyed me was why Huff (Hank Azaria) wouldn't make even a squeek at his miserable wife who seemed to blame him for everything - being too nice, too reasonable etc. Another show that had a lot of promise was Trust Me. Its about advertising exec's in Boston but didn't get a second series. Does anyone remember a sort of adventure/comedy-drama called Going to California. It dates to around 2002 if I remember correctly - the issue of September 11th was in the background a lot. I thought it was really good. Its about two guys driving to California to try and find a friend who had disappeared off the map. It was stopped near the end of the story, presumably by the studios which was a shame. I thought it has something special besides the obvious, a good vibe.
