It's always good to see an intelligent black man reveal the hypocrisy of the democratic party. I love it.

Osama bin Laden was a) killed by a unit overseen by what New Yorker reporter Seymour Hersh denounced as Vice President Dick Cheney's "executive assassination ring,"

Who gets the award for the most idiotic horseshit packed into one opening sentence, you or him, then?

I'm trying to figure out why it matters that he was black, white, brown or purple.

I would have seen the irony if he would have said, "clean and articulate." I think that was the phrasing. But otherwise, I got nothing.

Bush isnt' getting as much credit largely due to shit like this, backing off at Tora Bora, etc., the Bush administrations dedication to bringing Osama to justice was never much more than lukewarm at best, in fact most of the time it seemed they were at pains to avoid capturing him.

Osama was a big cash cow for the neo-cons, how else they gonna justify billing the taxpayers for all those armaments? The whole "War on terror", which pretty much everybody else agrees is largely a law enforcement issue, has been very lucrative for the Texas mafia and that whole gang.

The distinction here is the difference between gathering intelligence and acting on it - and when it comes that, the Bush and Bin Laden families are very well acquainted, business partners in fact - why didn't he just ask them where Osama was?

Who gets credit, how about the guys who have had boots in the sand and time away from family. That is who needs to have the lions share of the credit here. Bush and Obama both have advisers to help them craft their policies. The cold hard fact is that Pres. Obama made the call to take him down so he gets the credit for making that call. In the end though the true hard work in this instance was not done by either W. or Obama but the brave people in our military and intelligence services.

* Sighssss * how quickly we forget this is a jihad, a holy war waged against out beloved Christian nation. The real credit goes to our Protector and Avenger:

"He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:"

Come on, youse guys. Give credit where credit is due. Our God is stronger than their God! For heaven's sake, everybody knows that. Jesus guided the bullet straight to Osama's eyeball. SPLAT!

Mr. Elder is obviously an unbiased writer with no axe to grind...

Had the situation been reversed I wouldn't expect much crdit given to a EX Democratic President either.

Basically a lot to do about NOTHING!

This raid was a huge gamble. It could have blown up in Obama's face big time if they had attacked the wrong house, if Bin laden was not there or if the neighbors had all converged to destroy the attacking force like the did in Somalia.

Now you can't tell me with the huge risk that was taken here, that he didn't authorize the mission for political reasons. With his popularity going down the crapper he had nothing to lose.

Keep in mind too, that if it had not been to his political disadvantage, he would have instantly withdrawn from Afghanistan as soon as he took office.

If you need further proof where his true alliances are, all you have to do is ask why won't he release the photos? They are going to extract revenge regardless so why not release them. The answer is he is still catering to the Muslim world just as he has been doing for the past 3 years.

a miasmatic stench of asswipe.

approval ratings:

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_obama_job_approval-1044.html

Regarding the photos, it is the same reason we don't allow you or your kind to ever run the country.  It is the same reason we TRY to put kevlar vests on our troops.  It is the same reason we do not use one cop to raid a crackhouse.

I am not going to explain it to you, what that means,  you haven't the werewithal to understand.

But its there, maybe in another life it will come to you.

And if my aunt had balls, she would be my uncle. You can not tell me if it had gone south many of the people saying he should get no credit would be trying to put the blame 100% at his feet.
