Californians knew what they were getting when they voted for Schwarzenegger, he actually didn't get as many votes as Davis, but since it was a recall that didn't matter. There were stories of Schwarzenegger hitting on women, molesting women, etc etc etc, while he was married, and no one seemed to care. I thought the accusations that he sexually fondled women without their permission much more alarming than a love child, and I believed them. I do not think his intention was necessarily to rape anybody, he just thinks he is so hot that women should fall all over him. He is revolting, really. So, as with Clinton's sexual indiscretions, I do not think this changes my opinion of him one way or another. I didn't like the way he went after unions because they didn't support his candidacy. He was a vindictive bastard, trying to hurt government workers in California, and he was especially punitive to the peace officer's union (I know because my brother in law is a member of it, and they had more yanked from them than any other sector). I liked some of Clinton's policies, and I detested many others, bit impeaching him for sexual stuff was wrong.... I would have the same view if Arnie was the governor today. I do not think that Schwarzenegger campaigned on family values, if he had, my opinion would be far different
