Ahhh....If only domination was as simple as being violent toward your partner.!

You have a lot to learn glasshopper.

Pete.

Perhaps you should get the know the regulars before you start making snap judgements after your whopping 4 posts......glasshopper.

not a snap judgement I'd have thought. Merely an observation. One I'd be inclined to agree with.

Violence any thug can do.

Really? Well the point is darlin' is that if you knew Ron *mnottertail, you would know that he is neither violent (unless we ask nicely ;) or a thug. He is one of our most popular and well liked posters.

Christ if Ron has you two all riled up, wait until Domiguy gets her. [8|].

By the way down at the pier today I saw a dead ringer for Al Pacino circa his whole "Serpico" era and I just reminded myself why I do not have a hang up over height. This man was so fucking manly and hot I swooned right there. All 6 feet of my in heels, and he wasn't a minute over 5'7" if that. He could have had me on my knees right then had he asked. Hot.

needlesandpins -> RE: height a deal breaker? (5/27/2011 3:10:18 PM)

i think the point is is that pD was agreeing that some people do think violence is what some bdsm is about. now people may be new to the boards, or not have posted much but that doesn't mean they maybe new to what this is all about, so no need to patronise based on how many posts a person has made. he may not know Ron, but that doesn't stop the fact that the fact that Pete may have a point, be it including Ron or not.

I'm 5"9 and my owner is 5"8 so I tower over him in heels but height isn't a big issue, but I do like very tall men :)

provfivetine -> RE: height a deal breaker? (6/1/2011 3:31:52 PM)

For me, height can be a deal breaker. I never approach women that are taller than me. I understand that women prefer taller guys, and I'm not bothered by that.

I'm pretty sure that every girl I've ever dated, or been with, was my height or an inch shorter - never more than 1 inch shorter. I frequently find myself shorter than my dates when I go out, since they often wear heels - that doesn't bother me. As long as they aren't really taller than me. Upon reading this thread, I just measured myself - barefoot, and I found that I was 5'6'' instead of my listed 5'7''. I psychologically convinced myself that I was taller than I really am. My height, or lack thereof, is probably one of the reasons that I turned out the way I am: aggressive at times and very easily prone to fighting when being confronted in public, at parties, bars, etc. It provoked my interest in learning how to fight at an pseudo-professional level, and is a big factor in my dominant nature.

The good thing is that I'm frequently said to be "taller than I look" and have heard the "I'm not usually attracted to short guys, but I like you" mantra a bunch of times. I find that confidence, not height, is the key.

sexyred1 -> RE: height a deal breaker? (6/1/2011 3:44:12 PM)

Yes, confidence is the key. No one cares how tall someone is if they lack confidence.

I have said a million times on these boards that the hottest guys I have ever been with are shorter men and I am 5'7".

I know there is a perception that all women biologically want taller men but that is not true for everyone.

I hate when the short guys feel bad; believe me, there are women who adore you guys; especially if you can handle us.

Dominance is not measured in inches.
