I laughed when I read about the "Rapture Parties" going on on Saturday...good idea wish I had thought of it.

However to all the atheist and doubters that God exsists I say. do you really believe u know more then tens of billions of believers over the last 5000+ years???

Do you really believe 3/4 of the entire human race in the past 5 millenia were duped by a power that doesn't exsist???

Were you disappointed by God in some way in the past? did he fail to save your loved one from harm or death? it happens. life is hard and sometimes what WE believe is the worst thing that can happen isn't. you're in the middle of the journey and you will not be privy to why for a long time! Acccept it, that's life. GOD or not you will have tough times and how and if, you recover is part of the journey. having faith makes recovering easier. gives you a well of hope from which to draw, and when all else has failed comforts your soul in a way nothing else can.

maybe you're mad because you feel abandoned...guess what not only did he not abandon you, but he keeps a daily eye on you and helps you in the ways you'll let him when you most need it. And whenever you least expect it he sends you what you most long for ....Peace, Serenity, love.

did you know that the power of prayer is a measurable force. study after study has concluded that when people of faith gather, and in unison ask God for some one to be healed, if it isn't their time, they will not only heal but will heal 50% faster than someone who was not prayed for.

I know this won't change your angry, broken, frustrated, faithless veiws but I hope it will at least make u experiment. after all what have u got to lose, pray the next time you are in need. it can only help and will definately not hurt.

and no to those who wonder if it isn't being hypocritical, just like the father of the prodigal son rejoiced at his son's return to his home, so too will God rejoice your baby step in his direction.

PS: the reason why I wish I'd had a rapture party is that the fools who came up with the theory for the Rapture on May 21 used a formula that is so insane anyone who read the info knows these people are QUACKS!

Nice rant darling, then please tell us why it's all just a "belief" and not hard core evidence. I mean billions of flies eat shit, doesn't mean I'm going to start doing it (if you want to play the numbers game)...

Btw since you are so religious, you obviously didn't read the bible very closely, I mean your profile picture doesn't strike me as one any church would approve of - good thing that it isn't you. Since you brag about your dungeon in your profile and ask people to check out the pics? Which of those different chicks are you? Because you describe yourself as BBW, makes me wonder why you only got pics of slim chicks as profile pics...

Geez Louise, LovingNCruelMs...you need to take a deep breath.  I will agree with you (although didn't say it) that it takes more faith to believe in atheism than it does in God.  Atheists believe in all of the chemicals, metals, compounds, etc. on the chemistry chart they saw in high school but they don't believe those things were created.  The don't believe in the Genesis of those compounds, chemicals, gasses, etc.  There was a big bang...ok....what created the material that was combustible to make that bang?  Bangs don't occur from vacuums.

Fine.

But for some nitwit to say the day of judgment comes on this day or that day is kind of ridiculous, don't you think?  Whose calendar is he going by?  In what time zone does it begin?  There will come a day when "the living envy the dead."  Well...actually...those events have come and gone throughout recorded history, haven't they?  And somewhere as we speak there are people going through such suffering that they envy the dead.

By ready for judgment day to the best of your ability everyday.  But this Saturday will come and this Saturday will go.  Dogs will bark and fleas will bite.

I think some of you are already dead but that's beside the point. :>

I'm sure if you're dead they'll be okay with it..you won't probably have to even call.

Go ahead and try though, Bernie.

If the world is still here after the weekend, will we get an apology from all of the godbotherers on collarme?
(And if not, why not?)

Yep.
What's your favourite vampire book? I really like I Am Legend: deserved a lot better than Will Smith. The '50s version with Vincent Price is loads better...

Absolutely. Every single person on CM who has claimed that the world will end on Saturday with donate a tenth of their income to your favorite charity and give you a blow job.

Just so you'll have something equally likely to look forward to.

K.

No, I meant the Holmes one by Doyle.

The one that spawned the idea that was finally culminated up there, innit?

Constanze my Dear, you are a godess! Thanks for clearing the decks of these loons so I can get back to my pitch!
Damn, if I were a sub, I'd let you stick a heel in my eye (but I'm not so let's just go with professional courtesy on  that one)..... BTW - that guy reminds me of a Daddy Dom who's been snorting crushed Oxies.

For your kindness, I hope you will accept a free copy of the next item up.

I was forgetting that one. Excellent story, true enough.

well to be fair, I did have an arrant s in the title due to phantom digit reflux, the adventure was extraordinarily singular in the original title.
