I've never heard anyone describe financial domination in a way that is mutually caring in the long term, instead I hear abusiveness.

There are many dynamics that aren't mutually caring in the long term, and which an outsider might describe as abusive. Fortunately for the people involved, the only opinions that carry any weight are the opinions of... the people involved. That said, you are certainly entitled to whatever opinions you have.

To each there own, But i myself don,t see where there,s no fun in it for me, Yes i would buy a Mistress a nice pair of Boots or heels or Maybe even a Dress, But that is stuff that i would get some enjoyment out of to, But to jus send cash or whatever half way around no, I personally know of a lady that a Dr keeps well funded, He just doesn't know that her boyfriend and his kids live there to, he hasn't had a job in 6 yrs and drives around in a New Hummer, But that is his deal if he wants to give his money away, not mine, Thank You

MissAsylum -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 5:03:10 AM)

I have been given money for nothing before. I don't go demanding money from people I don't know. Just not my thing. I just believe its a real fetish. I know women who are financial dommes, "established" in the online scene if you will. Men come to then and buy them gifts, send cash, etc, because them men want to. I'd have to say that 90% of the women I know into finical domination have other employment or interests that generate income, and what money they get is used to supplement their lifestyle.

I've never expected or told anybody to go buy something off my wishlist, but men ask for it. Go figure.

Its a simple notion: don't like it? don't participate.

It doesn't change your life, so why are you bothering to give it energy?

Wow... coconuts and prickly pears... apparently they've been managing their tributes better than you thought.  LOL

Not really, money dommes are particularly pathetic.

How many pro dommes have you actually met in real life? For that matter, how many dommes do you actually know in real life? From your posts, I would guess 0.

VaguelyCurious -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 5:42:06 AM)

FR

I used to wonder why people who get upset about financial domination are so touchy. Then I looked around and decided that the people on this board who are genuinely secure and happy in what they do kinkwise seem not to really care what these women get up to. I reckon it's something that is considered 'acceptable' for people who are unhappy to nitpick at and criticise, so they jump on it so they can say 'well at least I'm not/not associating with someone I consider nothing better than a prostitute' to make themselves feel better.

But really? So what if you think it's vaguely near prostitution? It's voluntary. What do you care?

Lucylastic -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 5:51:36 AM)

The way he is going boi, he wont meet any either.
I have more than one prodomme friend and would NOT take an interest in anyone who has such a lousy attitude about any woman.
Beggars ?  Someone needs to read a dictionary for a month
Or he has a humilation kink, which Im not gonna feed

PhilSlave -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 6:04:08 AM)

A pro domme is very different to a money domme. Prodommes provide a service. Money dommes merely prey on people with a sexually aggressive begging tactic and take advantage of people who are probably in a bad way emotionally or mentally.

So does an Oil of Olay commercial. It manufactures a need that does not exist.

Ah, 'probably'. The last refuge of people without any actual evidence or knowledge.

Said people, whatever you'd like to claim about their mental state, are adults. They wouldn't keep paying if they didn't get something out of it. And again, why do you care? If it's not something you're interested in, don't get involved with financial domination. Problem solved.

NOW I KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!! Marlin Perkins but you're slipping in your old age you forgot the whole part about how Money and pro Dommes care for their families, and that a Mutual Of Omaha commercial was coming up.
have you been checked out for Alzheimer's marlin? ...  Might be time.

Haha, I'm not the one who describes herself as deranged. :)

Oh, did you describe yourself as VANILLA or do you (I'm typing very slowly so you might understand - using short words too) possibly think it might have something to do with the post count and that the forum gives those titles? We knew you weren't an Einstein, but thanks for clarifying that you are a bit "special", but the short bus is possibly a lot more comfy...

You realise typing slowly won't affect the speed your reply is read at or not read at? Haha, Of course your not an Einstein either; because, you're a woman and let's be Frank or even Rosalind Franklin, the female contribution to Science like most things pales besides the male. No misogyny or at least none intentionally, beyond basic observation.

RedMagic1 -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 7:46:24 AM)

Why are so many male self-identified slaves also male supremacists?

Serious question.

I do have my own theory.

Another serious question: should I start a thread about it?

You're welcome to compare education and degrees anytime... The concept of irony is obviously something you are not familiar with, feel free to google it, as a little hint, it's not the land where the Ironians live...

PhilSlave -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 7:54:56 AM)

O.K. My first Degree is Biochemistry from Nottingham U.K.
My Second is from University of London and I have done successful research at two others.
I did mine in the days when qualifications meant something.

I have never heard of this as being part of a long term relationship. It's an itch certain men have, and when they want it scratched, they ask a domme they don't want a relationship with what her wish list is. And that's the point, that like all true fetishes, it's about the fetish, and has nothing to do with the person presently providing it.

There certainly isn't enough call for it that a woman could take it up as a career.

Lucylastic -> RE: Are money dommes like beggars? (5/26/2011 7:58:22 AM)

for all you qualifications you seem to be having a lot of trouble comprehending real people
