What level of posting makes someone a "regular"? Many of us come and go, post alot sometimes, stay away other times. I don't feel responsible for overall content, only what I post and even then, I don't feel it is of such great magnitude that anyone should get truly upset over it. My ego is intact as it is and someone not liking my post is not going to affect me. If I feel as if I need to clarify something, I will if I like the poster. If not, I ignore it. Everything I post is my opinion and I don't expect anyone to get it, love it, want or need it. If they like what I say, cool. If not, so the fuck what. I also completely disagree with the poster who said that online is where you really "know someone". Puleeze. There are hundreds of ways to portray yourself in a false manner online, duh. How naive to think otherwise and to make assumptions simply based on writings, is most likely an incorrect assumption. It is only when you meet someone, do you get the nuances of a person. Unless, you are a one dimensional being. Most of us are fairly eclectic, and I post according to my mood. So if I am pissed, I might sound pissed. If I am in a good mood, I post that way. But unless you have actually met me, you have no clue who I, or anyone else really is behind the monitor. Everyone here could be authentic, or everyone here could be totally full of shit. In the end, it really does not matter. All that matters to me, is why I am here. It is for the entertainment value, the hotness value, sometimes someone makes me think or learn something, other times people just annoy me. As far as knowing how someone posts, all that does is make it easier for me to predict what kind of crap the poster will come out with and I am usually right. Sometimes I am pleasantly surprised, but most of the assholes are always assholes. As for the neverending complaint of regulars bashing newbies...I am so over that thought. Whoever you are, if you post nonsense, someone on the board will bash you. If you cannot handle the parameters of a message board, don't post. It is as simple as that.
