Status: offline 		Scrapple is your mid to lower south haute cusine.  We only use pig guts for sausages, washed in lime SEVERAL TIMES.

It was a very common curing agent. Its still used in "pickling".

No lye products are used in the processing of Falls Mill's grits.

Not me. Almost every Sunday since I could reach the stovetop my job was grits and crumbled bacon with red eye gravy. No need for all that other stuff as long as there are grits around. So youre wrong again!!!!
