Gee, I did a search with the term "Conservatism and Sociopathy" and got 828,000 results (0.09 seconds) Articles dealing with Tea bag party members berating a man with Parkinson's disease outside a doctor's office kind of got my attention. see for yourself Funny thing, I have come across articles of people complaining about the government giving disaster aid for natural disasters. quote:
During George W. Bush’s presidency, the response to Hurricane Katrina was a portent of a new standard that Republicans in the 112th Congress are continuing with spending cuts to programs that assist the poor and serve the general population. Republicans have proposed cuts to FEMA, severe weather warning systems, earthquake and tsunami monitoring programs, and myriad other public safety programs established to protect every region of the United States. After a tornado that leveled most of Joplin, Missouri killed 124 (at last count) in the deadliest storm since records have been kept, Republican majority leader Eric Cantor said, “If there is support for a supplemental, it would be accompanied by support for having pay-fors to that supplemental.” Cantor’s statement means any emergency funding Congress approves is tied to spending cuts equal to the cost of the disaster relief. source What is funny is that conservatives will rail against government handouts, but as soon as disaster strikes them, they have their fucking hands out. Conservatives have no social responsibility, compassion, or care about their fellow man or woman, unless the people in question has money, then they care.
