ORIGINAL: LadyConstanze I don't want to answer for Heather, so my personal take is that more male D types than female D types seem to put a lot of value in being able to physically overpower the submissives and think that psychological domination (aka getting into the head of somebody) is only something women do as they aren't able to physically dominate somebody with raw strength. Thanks for the interpretation, it's an interesting one. I guess I have been fairly lucky not to get caught up with a dominant man of that type. But I always thought that one on of the main attractions of dominance to both sexes were the psychological aspects, the fantasy or reality of controlling everything about another person that they wanted to control. Total control over another human, although it seems quite natural to me, is a fairly sophisticated psychological urge. It can express itself in physical and non-physical ways. I think that when I am actively looking for a dominant, I look for that urge to control first and foremost: I look at how pure that urge is. But I don't particularly care how the urge manifests itself or in what ways the specific details, physical and non-physical pan out. How can I put this? They can do with me what they want as long as...they can do with me what they want. Hmm, that's not exactly my most coherent sentence, but trust me, I know it when I see it. ;)
