So now you know how alot of people feel (not just liberals, btw) when a person with a 50 IQ runs for VP. We all get appalled, too. Join the club.

The only legitamate thing any of you guys have come up with is her lack of knowledge on geo-politics.  That's it.

And that's a whopper of one all by itself.  It should end right there, with that.

Not really a whopper, she's not likely to run, but since your taking back all the mean things then I'll leave it at that.

I'm appalled. was directed at the guy who posted just above you. Sorry about that.  But come on, 50 IQ ???  Your doing it again.

Yeah, and he got elected too!

You guys just can't seem to stick to the issues can you ?  You start out with complaining she took federal money for the bridge then refused more of it and scrapped the project liberal talking points (but conveniently worded with your own interpretation) . Then it's back to the guttersnipe liberal smear tactic bullshit.

Do you seriously not get the point, or are you just pretending that it's too far over your head to catch? She ran for governor promising (as part of her campaign platform) to accept the federal money and build the bridge, then when she was in office she canceled the bridge because she thought Congress was going to change its mind about building it, and then she refused to give the $422 million back to the feds. And then she claimed that she "just told congress 'no' to that bridge to nowhere," which is a complete  fucking lie. What part of this is too complex for you to comprehend?

Can I have some specifics on the health care lies ? Please don't give me the death panel BS, that's her talking point and I will concur.

Well if you agree with me, then what the heck are you asking me?

quote:

ORIGINAL: lovmuffin
Your not making yourself look any better by trying to tear her down.

I have absolutely no interest in "looking better," or even looking good, for that matter. Whether I am liked or respected here in this forum, and whether i get along with anyone here,  is completely inconsequential to me. I'm only interested in being correct in my assertions and sound in my opinions, and where Palin is concerned, I am dead on the money on both counts.

EternalHoH -> RE: Palin on the road Bachman on TV and headed to Iowa (6/1/2011 8:48:21 PM)

I'd like to know why you think everyone who thinks Palin is unilaterally unqualified for even a senator slot and believes her situation is not salvageable is always a liberal?

Reality is quite far from that.

Probably because liberals are more likely than conservatives to be smart enough to figure out what she's really all about.

Then since she's not here to defend her veracity, you get the opportunity to demonstrate the factual basis for her claim. Whatcha got?

Ahhh you made a point. I'm not saying I believe it word for word but now I'm forced to do a bit of research to pick it apart, (should I care to) which should not be too difficult,  because finally, one of you guys came up with something other than a personal attack, not withstanding the guy who brought up the geo-political thing.

And this is *my* point, when you go off on a rant saying stuff like "fucking cunt" and all the rest of it, then it means nothing, other than an undeserved assassination of her character, that's all.

Whether she runs or not is insignificant.  Its really about that segment of the population that actually thinks an 83 IQ, with some minor geo-political brush-up, would be 'good enough' if she did decide to run.

She is just the personification, the forward face, of a bigger social problem.

I have news for you.  A 120 qualifies the person to be a drinking buddy at the neighborhood bar, but not the leader of the free world.

Are we amused now?

I didnt ask you to apologize panda, you misunderstand.

In one post youre calling someone names. In the other you claim thats childish behavior...

I was only asking you to explain the disparity. Interesting though, how such an obvious and  simple question as that causes you to burst into flames so readily

Is there a 4-year old child living in your neighborhood? Because perhaps you could give him 25 cents to read my posts and explain the English language to you, if he can dumb his explanation down to a level you can comprehend.

Of the 6 examples you bolded, only 3 qualify as personal attacks. I won't bother explaining which 3, because it's amusing to imagine you driving yourself crazy trying to figure it out on your own. And as for the 3 that are personal attacks, I make no apology whatsoever. I hate the fucking cunt, and don't see any reason to refer to her in anything even approaching a civil manner. But the difference is, she's not here. I'm not talking to her, I'm  talking about her - while it certainly is a personal attack, it is not a personal attack on another poster, and unless they've changed the forum guidelines, I'm staying within the boundaries of the forum rules.

In  other words, what I say about Palin is none of your fucking business. Now... if I ever call you a cretinous bitch, or fucking pond scum, or stupider than a basket of potatoes, then you'll have a legitimate complaint. But of course, I would never do that, because it would be against the rules.

Obama didn't quit 1/2 way through and fulfilled their sworn oaths.

Do you want to rethink that? How much time did he spend on Illinois issues when he was campaigning for POTUS the day after he entered the Senate?

One would think that his office would continue working on the affairs of his constituents, otherwise how would he have been able to continue counting on their support?

Perhaps you can positively promote the discussion by providing some clear examples of people who have complained that Obama's senatorial office didn't do their jobs while he was campaigning, rather than a vague, handwavey hypothetical?

And you do know that this is the 21st Century? I do all my "day-job" work on a laptop and a cellphone FROM HOME most of the time, so sticking around the office is like so stuck-in-the 20th Century!

"we have repeatedly and consistently criticized her for her numerous lies (including her lies about health care reform"

Death panels, a term exploited by Sarah Palin is typically what liberals refer to as her lies about Obamacare (or at least one of them) and I assume you as well.

The dirty little secret about Obamacare he hoped would have escaped the headlines was his plan to reform medicare as part of overall deficit reduction, Obama proposed a panel - The Independent Payment Advisory Board  - to recommend savings for the financially doomed program. Translation:  rationing.

The board, which was an original part of Obamacare, (so called death panel)  consists of 15 unelected bureaucrats who will have unchecked, binding power in the interest of supposedly greater efficiency and lower costs. That means that instead of you or your doctor making decisions about your care, a group of bureaucrats will do it for you.

They will do this by cutting reimbursements to doctors and hospitals and restricting patients from costly end-of-life care by enforcing caps on how much a patient can spend to stay alive. Most at risk will be the disabled, who require special and often expensive care. Cancer patients will be at risk, as well, since chemotherapy and other oncological treatments are some of the priciest.

In the past, Obama had hinted that we'll need a way to address these patients. "The chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80% of the total health care bill out here." He said this shortly after taking office. "There is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place."

But there was no real conversation. Democrats inserted the rationing panel into the Affordable Care Act (i.e., Obamacare), and when the opposition tried to draw attention to the risks involved by invoking rationing, they were branded by the left and the mainstream media as crazies (that is Sarah Palin is a liar smear tactic character assassination Bullshit which addresses what  MY FREAKIN POINT HAS BEEN ALL ALONG).

Is it a fair to compare death panels to rationing to The Independent Payment Advisory Board ? I believe it is. It's open for debate, not character assassination.
