The same issue I have with Clinton, actually... at least he had a definition to fall back on. Weener has nothing. And Im in total agreement with the ethics investigation.

It would have been a pretty minor thing if he hadn't done a really bad job of trying to cover it up. Oh, and my boss has long since learned not to ask me questions if he doesn't really want to hear the answers. [:D]

The democrats do not need this right now. With the 2012 elections less than 18 months from now, he should resign for the good of his party. I think he will be forced to do just that.

Pelosi's ethics investigation is all for show. Nothing will come of it unless theres more that he hasnt disclosed. Using House resources isnt likely to be anything more than his cellphone and computer, which they wont hang him for. Also the election is a year and a half away. This will be long forgotton by then, especially in his far left district. Im not even sure he should resign, since he represents his constituencies philosphies so well. As I said, I think his role as spokesman/attack dog is over, and thats huge. Medicare the issue in 2012????? Only secondarily and as a scare tactic by Weiner's successor as lying scumbag. Its the economy stupid.

I would still prefer him, over the vast majority of congressmen on the job, without weiner pictures on the web. At least he didn't leave the country to visit the mistress. M
