Lessee, I've had better starts!

Spent the early morning in the ER - if you really want to be seen quickly, mention that you have any type of chest pain with weakness.  Also had twitchy muscles.  Found out I was dehydrated, got topped off with a liter of fluids, and have to have my kidneys checked again with the family doc.

So now I be drinking lots o' water!  And peeing my life away.

(You ain't seen nothing like a woman with a 46DD rack walking to the bathroom in a hospital gown...without a bra on.  Good thing I didn't run or I'd have broken my nose! [:D]  (I was wearing 2 gowns, so at least I didn't flashy my undies at the whole place.)

Tomorrow I'm trying to get the RV up  (needs a tire changed) and have to go to work for a bit.

Tomorrow is also brew day. I'm brewing a batch of IPA. It should be ready to drink by the 4th of July. Nice n cold n hoppy and should run about 7.5%

Hell, you can hardly have a 4th of July without beer!

GreedyTop -> RE: -=Happy weekend – what are you doing?=- (6/4/2011 8:10:01 PM)

spent yesterday and today doing more unpacking, lazing about, watching VHS movies (now that I have a VCR again!  YAY!), and wondering what on earth keeps making Cashew get all puffy and running around the house like a lunatic...LOL  Gotta go to work tomorrow night.

I'm working this weekend, and every weekend. [:(]

But, I'm headed to So. Cal later this week to visit family and friends so at least I'm doing something fun this week. [:)]

Finished mowing my neighbor's yard gratis (after I mowed mine). Sold Italian Beef sandwiches Sat. for a fundraiser. Sang kareoke (sp?), was a offered a drink to keep me singing (Hah! as if I need a drink to keep my shameless self singing!!). Will sing one song twice tomorrow, might attend a parade. Bummed my drunk dial didn't work. Might weed/mulch my hosta beds before the weeds completely totally take over. At least the variegated hostas are lovely.

Have a lovely Sunday, folks!!

(will go in to work at 4am on Monday)[:'(]

Aroundbutnot -> RE: -=Happy weekend – what are you doing?=- (6/5/2011 1:52:21 PM)

Karaoke, drunken foolery, Kung Fu Panda 2, and making sure the pig weed doesn't f*** up my garden.

No Kings for me. [:(]

Making lists for Calibirthday, shopping for a new swimsuit, painting a fence, pretending I am going to turn my ghost white body a different color by laying on my deck for 15 minutes a side once a day, grooming the boycats, reading a new Tome from the Lantis Sagas by Wulfgar, Vol the Outlaw, damn it is better than Uller the Shyne was, and having icecream Sunday on Sunday to honor my friend who at 57 just got her degree!

God help me....I told my guy I'd do a bike ride with him this weekend. I broke both arms in 7 places riding a bicycle last summer on what was to be the first ride of the season. I did start riding my bike around my neighborhood this week in an attempt to get used to it again physically and mentally, but thought a formal ride was ages in the future if ever again.

We were chatting online tonight about the upcoming weekend whereupon I was to be accompanying him to a 40 mile ride (he was going to ride, I was going to wait till he got back)...he happend to ask about how I felt about doing the 8 mile kiddie ride and before I knew it I said I'd do it! Then I spent the next half hour wondering what I'd done and having a few tears escape.

I don't know that I'm ready for this, but I'll be damned if I live my life being scared of something. On the other hand maybe it's smart to pay attention to these fears. I don't know, sigh. I do tend to jump into things. Arghhhhhhhh.

I am impressed. Seriously. You are my newest hero. I have lived in fear in the past & it was quite awful. One day I was talking to my Auntie June who suffers from debilitating anxiety. I was telling her something that I had been doing, probably involving driving the semi all over the country & she said to me, "I wish I was more like you; you're never afraid." I told her, "Oh Auntie June, I am afraid every day of my life!!" She said, "But you just do things anyway!" I said, "Yes I certainly do."

So even if you can't make the whole ride, you have taken a step toward not allowing your fears to control you. You go, girl!!!!!
