HELL YEAH I'M ANGRY!

I'm angry that the highest judicial office in the land is for sale.

I'm angry that Clarence Thomas can be bought for only $500 grand.

It casts doubt onto the integrity of the entire court, since if one justice is so affordable, why not buy enough to ensure your legislative agenda is fulfilled?

If domestic influence is so cheap, is there an additional premium paid for foreign nationals and governments to buy US Supreme Court Justices?

What do they mean resign to preserve the judiciaries honour, well, that has already gone and that by finding this person out, so prior to him being found out, the judiciary were already without honour. Will this person's resignation change the thought regarding the US Supreme court, well I don't know about anyone else, but sleaze found in one place might be indicative of more sleaze and that highly likely because where there's  power, there is money and where there is brass, there is muck.

But for someone to be forced to resign there position, will  that really change anything, for now this being revealed there is suspicion and where there is suspicion a former position is eroded and that because the people who were seen to be honourable weren't.

Corruption has been found, so corruption exists, would you trust the judiciaries after hearing about this as you did before ?

Or will a simple resignation restore all that was lost ?

And what about others in that same situation, are they squeaky clean, or is it because nothing yet has come to light regarding others, they are completely trustworthy and with honour ?

Perhaps trust and honour will have to be proved for trust and honour to be believed after this situation, as it is clear the non disclosure of external interests proves people who should be trustworthy  and honourable via their status aren't.

Which brings me to the question, can trust and honour be bought, and if so, by whom and how will that effect fair judgement ?
