I think it is so important that in any relationship where the Master and slave are married and live 24/7 (as my slave and I do) there needs to be a good balance of vanilla thrown in. Otherwise one or both of you can get lost in trying to live up to a standard without any kind of break.

ExistentialSteel, I did have a different profile. I read your post and realized that you were correct. I decided to change the profile to be more accurate and to represent my interest in a clearer fashion.

To all who reponded to my posts:
I appreciate the help and advice given to me. I am taking it all to heart and re-examining my motives and goals.
In particular, thank for the advice about a kink-aware therapist. We are looking into that now, and it may help. I am willing to give it effort, and I have nearly convinced my wife to consider it.
As I stated before, I realize my blame, and my wife realizes hers. As we travel the road to recovery, the advice this fine group of people has shared with me will be considered.
