How can you blame him

After a while all these Hate Palin threads begin to blur together into one long far left hate fest

Yanno, before, I wasn't really that interested in voting for or supporting her.

Until the continued drumbeat of bullshit from the left - hatred, spite, schadenfreude, etc, etc, etc - almost has me convinced to vote for her if she ran for office.  Just to see the left have a friggin' cardiac arrest if she is elected.

After all, since they hate her so much ... she must be doing something right ....

The obsession with Palin goes well beyond the emails. You're too smart for anyone to have to explain that to you.

I do not think "everyone hates obama", as you say.  Certainly not in the media.  Most of them still have that "tingle running down their leg".

I think this sums up the media's issue with Palin:

"I can't believe Nixon won. I don't know anybody who voted for him."

Why? So Obama doesn't have to put any effort into winning a second term? Maybe they can run a talking dog against him. Or better yet, just say fuck it, and give him another 4 years no questions asked.

How depressing is this post, really? Wouldn't you rather see a competent Republican who could potentially make a great President run against Obama, have intelligent, thoughtful debates with him, push Obama to get back in touch with what Democrat voters elected him to do so he has to earn their votes, and rest easy that if the Republican does get elected, the country is in reasonable hands?

Nah, fuck all that "democratic ideal" spew...so long as the guy with the D by his name gets re-elected you're happy to see the political process turned into a circus show.

She is doing something right.

She is quite adept at playing the empty talking head role, she's excellent at turning any issue into "us vs. them", she's highly skilled at making controversial headlines with little substance to back them up, and she's at the top of the class when it comes to turning politics into a reality television show.

Just because she's able to do something well doesn't mean her skill set is of any value whatsoever.

If the loony left would just ignore Palin, everyone else would too.

I do not in any way agree with her politics, however, I will say two things in her favor. First, as an ex-governor, she is way more qualified than the big O was when he got the job. Second, after spending a long lifetime being screwed by politicians, it's nice to have one where I might enjoy it. Now where did I put that gag?
