Weve been over that lie. Those women calling themselves "the 911 Widows" were a political group shilling for the John Kerry campaign, and they were using their status as "911 widows" for political purposes. Can you imagine if reporters weren't so lazy and didn't practice group think and pack journalism... what they could accomplish? I've never seen a group of such uncurious people in my life. My background? Former reporter and news director at an NPR/PBS station and contributing editor to NPR. I got out because of my disgust and that was 1983, before the repeal of the "1984 speak" so called "fairness doctrine" which really made radio blossom. You want a variety of opinions? You have it NOW with cable and radio! It was a closed shop prior to the repeal of that harmful poorly named fairness doctrine. The abccbsnbcnprpbs's of the world miss those days when they called all the shots. They still have no idea why their viewership/listenership/readership is going down. Not a clue. Talk to newspaper people... they'll tell you the price of newsprint, stupid readers, too many republicans, nobody reads, etc... instead of the real problem: their product stinks. The solution? Hire curious reporters and editors. Go after EVERYBODY hard, not just republicans. Stop being so freaking lazy. Quit this rampant pack journalism. STOP NOW federal funding of NPR/PBS. AND, those outlets that continue being mouthpieces for the Democrat National Committee? STOP reading/watching/listening! Now, watch the leftists comments. Should be hilarious... see if they can avoid calling names. I love watching them... their little faces get all contorted, all red.. and they spit out insults. November 2012 muchachos. See you then.
