I know some diseases dont get rubber stamped, renal failure being one. The majority do. Thankfully you didnt have to go through the process. And thank you for answering.

See the thing is I don't have a disease per se,I had an injury that has left me with a degenerative spinal condition....which,rightly so has a higher burden of proof than being diagnosed with an actual disease which can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.My condition calls for mri's to be evaluated.....pain levels estimated,range of motion...or lack thereof to be ascertained......in my case I was strongly advised by my neurosurgeon to not even attempt to deal with Social Security on my own....I don't in any way blame the system for any of this...unfortunately people game the system...so the system by necessity throws up roadblocks to give itself time to weed out the game players.Once my ruling was heard on appeal I have never...ever had to wonder when I would receive my check.The same is not true with my workers comp check...which is set up as a direct deposit....yet still will at times be delayed due to a holiday in the week or some other silly notion...when I have complained about the uncertainty of when I get my money some functionary explained to me that the WC court awarded me payments bi-weekly...as long as they do not fail to make those payments I have o valid complaint.....lol.

Yeah Igor,I too had some debts to pay back by the time I got the big payday.....and I had my Workers Comp helping me along while I waited....but as I said in the last post I made....I have had no problems with the system once I received the my status.So all in all I have no complaints.4th Wednesday of every month like clockwork.

The insurance company immediately asked me if I would accept a lump sum payment....I told their rep no fucking way....keep writing the checks...and be prepared for any future sugeries my doctors and I might decide I need. Insurance companies suck!

Not backpedaling at all. You know me better than that. I quoted the Politifact artcile so I would not be misunderstood. Perhaps you should read it again. Cain and Gingrich made the same mistakes as those articles. The changes produced consistent increases in the number of average monthly beneficiaries. The number rose in seven out of the eight years of Bush’s presidency -- most of which were years not considered recessionary. Are you trying to say that the comander and chief of the military did not order those seals to do what they did? Are you saying that those seals stole a helicopter and went on their own authority into the a soverign country and murdered a man?
