A big bowl of Sugar Crisp cereal for breakfast.

They call it Golden Crisp or some such now... just like Sugar Pops that they changed to Corn Pops.

It makes me really feel old, but Pam Dawber will be 60 this October.

I still enjoy looking at Jason Bateman now just as much as I did when he was on Silver Spoons. Does that count?

Running through the sprinklers, even if you are in a sundress and not a bathing suit.

5 Oreos and a cold glass of milk. 5 because somehow, that's how Mom always divided
them up between all us kids.

Those Highlights magazines that I still manage to find in most doctors offices. I always loved
finding the hidden images.

Going back to my childhood now. Be back later!

Throw in Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with Burl Ives and you've got the trifecta! :)

Frosty the Snowman too!

Judge Dredd comics, Asterix comics, lime juice bricks (aka West Indian limes), Doctor Who, fizzy cola bottles, Mars bars (I think they're Three Musketeers in the 'States: your Mars is a Milky Way), chocolate covered raisins.

Two things for me.....

1 - Writing my name in the snow.

2 - My first ever sexual experience (you know...the one that I didn't have anyone to share with the first time.)

I'm a guy, what do you expect?

I never really put childhood stuff away. So there's nothing I pull out specially to remember or relax with.

Kool Aid frozen in ice cube trays because our parents wouldn't spring for actual popsicles.

In the summer mom would get this perfectly awful--in retrospect--vanilla ice cream with fudge swirl in a 2.5 gallon tub from Albertson's. We were allowed to eat ice cream for breakfast all summer long if we wanted to. I used to think that was a really cool thing for this otherwise not-cool mom to allow, but now I realize she did it so she didn't have to deal with preparing food for us. LOL

I still love to fly those balsa wood airplanes that are powered by a simple rubber band. The ones you pick up at the corner store for 50 cents. Its still fun!

Sneaking downstairs at midnight to try and sneak a peek at the tv when Twilight Zone was on and my dad catching me and letting me stay up to watch it with him.

Watching SNL when it was actually amazing

Crushing pennies on the railroad tracks and picking berries along the tracks

Sitting on the porch shucking corn for dinner

Climbing the big cherry tree in the backyard and pelting my brother and his friends with unripe cherries that hurt like hell.

Being able to do all the things that kids just can't do today and it was no big deal back then

Going to the Jersey shore.

Still today as I cross over to the barrier islands, I smell the marsh and ocean breeze. It`s aromatherapy.

It brings me back to spending all summer down the shore as a kid, barefoot the whole time.

Going to Sandy Hook this w/e.Gunnison beach, can`t wait.
