I used to drive my parents crazy "running" around the house in slow motion, thanks to THIS show. I used to make the "DO-DO-DO-DO" sound effect too.

Our weekly dose of family wholesomeness came from THIS show...

and THIS show.

I learned about wildlife (and insurance) from THIS show.

And my budding salacious thought were helped along by THIS fabalous female.

Growing up, I just knew that one day, somehow, Major Don West would
no longer be Lost In Space, but found happily playing games with me.

Ps. I love your signature marc.

Over here it certainly was Pumuckl

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrKj1FVzgWg

this link explains quite well that it is popular over here since before I was born: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pumuckl

I think holly comes pretty close to the nature of Pumuckl

Oh man I've always been a telly addict. As a kid....

Alf the Saturday morning cartoon
Family Ties (grew up idolizing Alex P. Keaton!)
Transformers
Underdog
Tennessee Tuxedo
Rocky and His Friends and the Bullwinkle Show (especially the Mr. Peabody segments)
Get Smart
Twin Peaks (I was totally too young for this! But I'd watch it anyway on the sly)
Headbanger's Ball
Fraggle Rock
The Muppets
WKRP in Cincinnati
The Dick van Dyke Show

I also used to love watching Masterpiece Mysteries with my grandmother, especially anything based on an Agatha Christie work.

Obviously some of these were reruns by the time I was watching them either in syndication during daytime television or back when Nick at Nite was still so brilliant. Out of all these shows, I remember I'd get really grumpy if I had to miss an episode of Alf on Saturday morning or Family Ties on Thursday night.

I love this thread and I'm glad my awesome thread inspired it!

I remember Wacky Races! The USA Network used to rerun those on Sunday mornings and they'd always be on just when I got home from church in the summer. Since they came on right before wrestling, I'd usually watch them. I recall getting pretty emotionally invested in a few episodes!

Thanks. It's just my way of reminding people that just becasue someone (like lovable, little 'ol me ) disagrees with them on something, or gets a little snarky (we're all human)... it doesn't mean they are a bad person.

And let me say, that I love your photos... some of them are canidates for my naked chick slide show screen saver.

I listened to the radio when I was a child. The Lone Ranger, The Shadow, Fibber McGee & Molly, etc.

But when we got a tv finally, I used to love The Stan Boreson Show, which was a local Seattle kids' show. There was a hydroplane based in Seattle called "Slow Motion" or "Slo-Mo" for short. Stan had a Basset Hound who basically never moved & he named him "No-Mo".

When I was a teenager, I loved watching the original American Bandstand from Philly after school. We weren't allowed to watch it at home, so I had to sneak to the neighbor kid's.
