....Turtle, wasn't there a Touche Turtle????

And for the record, I'm trying to find theme songs for Tennessee Tuxedo (T, T, T, Tennessee Tuxedo.....) and Go Go Gophers ( watch 'em go go go....) but can't, only the cartoon clips.

Kimba (part one of episode 1)

part 2 ep 1

part 3 ep 1

OMG nobody on this planet ever knows what I'm talking about when I say Kimba!  I have a whole new love for you!!!!

As for favorite shows as a kid

All in the Family (my dad would laugh till he cried, and even though I didn't understand Archie Bunker's humor, watching my dad was reason enough to watch this show)

Batman

My Friend Flicka

Flipper

Brady Bunch

Little House on the Prairie

Mr. Rodgers. Yes, I watched. Religiously.  And threw tantrums when my brothers changed the channel.

I hated Romper Room.  I'd watch it, but Miss Maryanne NEVER EVER said my name (mind you, I have a 4 syllable Spanish name that wasn't heard of in this country in the late 60's)

The Funky Phantom

Josie & the Pussycats

Hong Kong Phooey

Hair Bear Bunch

Jabberjaw

OK, I've obviously got right into this thread.  To the point of obsession, I just kept finding cartoon after cartoon and couldn't resist.

I know, I watched it again last night for the first time in years, and I swear I almost peed myself.  The poor Siamese elephants with the *thnerk*, that had to be one of the funniest shows.  And Tim Conway was always the one responsible for the hi-jinks, he'd do it on purpose to try and make them laugh and just wouldn't give up until they did.

That was one of the funniest variety shows ever.  Tim Conway and Harvey Korman were killer when they'd go off-script and try to make each other laugh.  Had to love live TV back then.

I have to admit I got hooked last night when I started finding cartoon after cartoon that I used to love to watch.  Unfortunately, in Canada, we have a station called Teletoon Retro but apart from a few of the old ones, it's not all that great a station.  Although I did find out that I can watch Alvin & the Chipmunks, Casper & Friends and Little Lulu from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.  I also get to watch Bugs Bunny for an hour every day, depending on the day.

I love me some funny cartoons and hilarious movies.  They can raise my spirits when I really need it, regardless of how many times I've seen them.  And now that I've found out that some full cartoon episodes can be watched on YouTube, well guess what I'll be doing?
