Seriously, I think an election should be a choice. But that's back when we had Republicans, not nut cases.

Status: offline 		Nut cases? I'm thinking increasing the national debt $4 trillion in only 2.5 years, and then whining about republican budget cuts going to deep is nuttier than enforcing our immigration laws.

Then you should wonder why it didn't bother you from 2000-2008, and you should wonder just how the same people who turned a surplus into again rapidly escalating debt would be the answer.

Are you aware this was basically a Bush proposal?

Partisans on both sides just astound me today, each convinced that all the troubles are the other side's fault, when they are so close and doing almost the same things, with different rhetoric, on all but a few issues.

Feds nab 2,400 in illegal immigrant sting Federal officials announced Tuesday the arrests of more than 2,400 illegal immigrants in a seven-day crackdown targeting those who are convicted criminals.

The operation, called Cross Check, was conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs officials in May, federal officials said in a press release.

"The results of this operation underscore ICE's ongoing focus on arresting those convicted criminal aliens who prey upon our communities, and tracking down fugitives who game our nation's immigration system," ICE Director John Morton said in a statement. "This targeted enforcement operation is a direct result of excellent teamwork among law enforcement agencies who share a commitment to protect public safety."
