Is there enough money in the world to actually make it worth living with Gene Simmons? I know people who recorded in his studio or had him producing, during breaks he asks who wants a sandwich, since they are paying several K already, they assume catering is free, he actually splits the sandwiches in half and asks them for the money. You can be economic, but there is such a thing as being a cheap bastard. Unless everybody else lies, Gene is tighter than a gnat's arse... Oh and he has the worst weave on the planet, on 2nd thought, he and The Donald might be contenders for that.

Status: offline 		Yeah, but he seems pretty generous with his own family, 16,000 sq. ft. house, lots of cars, trips, vacation homes, you name it, and it appears that Shannon pretty much has all the credit cards she wants. He seems to have rewarded her well for having his kids.

And putting up with him, lol.

To be honest, I hope she has all the credit cards she wants, having sex with him, bearing his kids and the indignity of being seen as his partner - a bit like the master card ad "Priceless"

That Gene's rock star persona is all important to him and he thinks he's better than most of the world. He also said that Paul Stanley is a great guy, lives for his family and has his family around at most of the shows. Peter Criss spends time with people just chatting and being a regular guy as well. He has nothing good to say about Gene Simmons and if his name comes up I can pretty much see his face go sour, lol.

If Shannon's trade-off for being with Gene is money, than I'm glad she has it and hope it makes her happy.

But all this makes Shannon out to be the martyr or somesuch here.

If everybody else could figure it out what a twit he was but she couldn't then so be it.

Except I don't think that's how it actually was. She took her chances and made the bet and this is how it turned out. She made the exchange, and she was not that stupid regarding the bargain. She is getting out as planned.

Get a clue people.

If it were not for her, I wouldn't have sat through one of those shows. His kids are who they are because of her, and he is barely around. He is a dickhead, and I like seeing his family love him despite it and poke fun at him...

Status: offline 		I watched a couple of episodes, and was touched by how grounded, sweet and smart their kids seemed. The second one I watched was the plastic surgery one where both their parents were cut, and how upset the daughter was when one of them had a complication, and although they had a shred of ethics not to film her, I never watched again. So although Shannon is a gold-digger with body image issues and Chaim is a slut and wheeler/dealer with the innate good taste of a magpie, I think their own upbringing helped them parent otherwise well.
