I don't know...Shannon looked very upset, so did Tracy and the kids on another interview I watched. You might be right, and even Joy wasn't sure...hard to tell with these "reality" shows.

Exactly, they were fun the first couple seasons, but the kids, especially Nick, are the entertaining ones. Shannon had to go and get all grody lip-injected, so she just makes me grimace. Seems like the last season, they had to work too hard to drum up stunts to film for the show. They jumped the shark, time to say bye-bye, but they'll milk this "we're splitting up" thing for awhile.

I don't know! Linda Evans (Krystal on Dynasty) was on a talk show a couple days ago, and damned if she didn't get all carp-lipped, too! The rest of her face looked good, as did her body.....if she'd have left the lips alone, she'd have been stunning. Instead, I just kept staring at her lips.... Along those lines (and totally off-topic, but oh well), why do the celebs make television appearance so darn soon after having their "work" done? For gawd's sake, stay home until the swelling goes down!

I hope they are not breaking up. Family Jewels is the only "reality" show I watch, and I have always felt they were genuine. I think that now that the kids are growing up and leaving, Shannon is beginning to feel anchorless. Last night, Gene admitted he has some selfish, juvenile notions that float around in his head regarding marriage, that he needs to think about and work through. He was teary eyed. It could be for ratings I guess, but I am going to choose to believe they are both sincere about their feelings. I really hope it works out.

I think it is a publicity ploy too.....He is no worse than her..they both use each other it seems for different reasons....I watched the first new episode and she just started spending money like crazy after she saw him in a photo with some women..what else is new? Something like $30,000 for a new couch she wanted to spend and did maybe...He sounded like a scolded puppy dog too the whole episode....I don't think anyone can take any reality shows as "real"..just have fun watching them...I just don't get, except for the money, why people do these shows...
