yep, thats so true...also support groups of kids who lost their parent(s) due to stroke, heartattack, whatever due to overdoing it...due to not checking out blindness spots...etc...

a previous colleague of me died 2 years ago on breast cancer, aged 40...she was a single mum and had a 3 year old daughter...she surely would have loved to handle your issues instead...now her daughter is being raised by her sister.

my dad had a short period where he did see double about 10 years ago when he drove home from work...quite frankly, he was at the doc in no time, to get himself checked out.

In the field of alternative wellness (yeah that joke is on me), i gave back to those in need alot. And im not here professing i have the worst life ever..... im saying help what to do, since there are so many on here with chronic illnesses, just asking the masses. Im on several fibro support groups , but if ya wanna talk about whinning well go there. (not all).

Totally agree with LinnaeaBorealis on this one Tammy.

I think it's great your a perpetual student, but you have responsibilities, to yourself and your kids.   Repeating over and over again what you want, won't make those responsibilities go away.

Accept what you have, be grateful for your children and move on.  Instead of complaining that you can't do this or that, relish in all you CAN do.   Take a walk through a cancer ward at any hospital, see the young ones dying slow deaths, while hooked up to tubes...complain to them or their parents about your lot in life.

Quit complaining, give your kids a hug, listen to what the doctors tell you, decide what your doing with Art and be thankful.

Thank you for posting that. I needed to read these words right now.

Clever. So hard argue with such clear logic and wit. Tam is stronger than you let on and perfectly capable of leaving if she thought is was best. If some people have decided based on a few pages containing very little actual information that she should make a life changing decision then I'm sure tam will give it the consideration she thinks it deserves.

Art...

So, you are not part of this equation any longer?  It's all up to Tammy now?  People, myself included, gave advice based on what a woman you profess to owning, posted all over public space.  I never understood how you felt the Jerry Springer approach would help, but since she is your property (your words), it was assumed you agreed and supported this endeavor.

Why is it all up to Tammy?  Unless you have already washed your hands of the relationship, there are two people involved and your one of them.  You are basically saying that the advice given on a public board is more important to reaching a solution to the problems in your home, then anything you, personally, could offer.   And you asked me how I could forecast such a dim view on the length of your relationship?

Not for nothing but and I appreciate the advice my migraines would laugh at the strawberries and yak them back up. Botox works ...... just can't do the injections on my own.

Have you yet tried topamax as a preventative?
It has worked great for mine.

However, that kind of head exploding thing you had should be mentioned to your new doctor and followed up with a neurologist. The neurologist will be able to get you on a headache protocol.

And as mentioned before, not all of the drug therapies for fibromyalgia are the same old, same old.

Also, Since you have been living off of pepsi, mountain dew and things with caffeine it is possible that part of your headaches are related to your caffeine intake. Caffeine is one of the standard components in many headache remedies and you may be getting rebound headaches from it.

Yes i have tried many. right now its back to isocet and phenagren..... have a neurologist appointment soon. again, and again... been there and they just send me to other specialist....fustrating hence why i accepted the pills and gave up on doctors for awhile. Now im back in the saddle with a new doctor and a bunch of new specialist.... lets see how this goes.

and on that note one family member said this morning as i am getting up early to wake them up for a group trip, that the only thing i do in this house is clean our bedroom! THE ONLY THING?! Not getting any sleep and getting up just to drive you 30 minutes for your field trip, meanwhile making everyone coffee...not enough for 2 hours of sleep. Not to mention the kitchen has been cleaned by me ever since that person joined the group which is the members job! Had another family member clean that family members room because it wasnt getting done, so they lost their room, laptop and cell phone (the electronics they had gotten back for a whole day!) And the ones that were awake to here this nonsense agreed! I say its a bunch of spoiled rotten brats following whomever wants to blame me! Fucking fustrating! and yes i am pissed! Ready to pack up the kids to their aunts and go live in a cave somewhere!

ok sorry to rant.......

If i had dared say that to my parents such disrespect and lack of appreciation for what they actually DID do for me would have had my ass receiving nothing more but the very basics, which would have meant no spending money, no field trips, my room probably would have been cleared out, i wouldn't have been able to go to my sports because i wouldn't have anyone pick me up or take me unless i found a ride etc etc etc until i learned some appreciation and respect.

No shit!

If one of my kids ever dared to speak to me like that, even today.........they would be running and ducking. To expect ANYTHING else would be unfathomable to them.

Tammy, it might be a trite saying but we really do teach others how to treat us. If you don't like the way the brats are treating you, teach them differently. Quit ranting and DO something to change things.

First it was a house full of 6, then supposedly, Arts daughter and shack up partner moved out.
Who the heck are all these people you are ranting about now?
And why are you spending so much of your time posting on this thread of yours instead
of dealing with your issues, since every logical option that was offered to help you
resolve the problems have been met with excuses by you as to why they wont work.

If it's only sympathy you are after, you have mine. But not for the reasons you think.

Migraine, fibromyalgia, IBS and related conditions display common clinical, biochemical and pathophysiological patterns that suggest an underlying clinical endocannabinoid deficiency that may be suitably treated with cannabinoid medicines.

Good grief. I talked smart assed like that to my mom, when I was 20 and home on leave from the Army. She popped my jaws before I knew what was happening.

I would be damned if I would do one fucking thing for that person again until they showed me they deserved it.

Wow.  I can't fathom such disrespect, it's beyond my comprehension.  That house is so dysfunctional, it's easy to see how your illness is taking over.

my doctor was the first visit, filled with discussion, no changes yet...wating for all those test results.. whhoo hooo

Eleven days prior to this post of yours, you started this thread. So they weren't even THERE when you were bitching about them??? Seriously? They aren't even there to make a mess, and you're bitching about it? WTF?

So this is really "The Art and Tammy Show Round 2", but without a better plot.
