Whatever happened to "one week" of bombing? Wasn't it about 2-3 months ago that they "told us" that? And where was the big "genocide" that was supposed to happen if the U.S. didn't "do something?" We've killed far more people in bombings! What do you want to bet that the fucking dummy in the white house with the "162" I.Q. still has us involved in this mess a year from now?

What do you think the subject is? Look at the title of the thread very carefully... the subject is what. Bush was right, Obama campaigned on bullshit antiwar mantra that the left trumpeted then assumed office and looked at the intelligence and immediately began conducting foreign policy so identicle to that of Bush that anyone would be hard pressed to find any diffeences Except possibly for the names Its not a war, we arent conducting a war on terror, we are involved in an overseas contingency operation There is no terrorism, there is only "man caused disaster" And so on

The only thing that ever actually changes is the picture over the west wing's mantle. Right or Left all their efforts ever tend to do is support different groups of supporters, i.e...rich folk (he who has the gold makes the rules). All in all they are all there to get and grab; even if they arrive in office with reasonable intentions the temptation, corruption and manipulation soon has a good grasp on their fortitude. If you think for one minute that anyone since Washington and maybe Jefferson had the greater good and the freedom of the common man as his priority you maintain delusional concepts. With regards to Libya, BP took their lumps and is now being compensated.

And where's all the "hope?" Tens of thousands of people a week are now timming out of unemployment benefits and that genious wants "free trade" with S.Korea, Chile and other countries? How many millions of jobs have we lost to China and "Nafta?" What good are "cheap goods" if you don't have any money to buy them? People aren't optimistic out here about the future like they were during Reagan and Clinton. There's a malaise out here that's palpable. How are you supposed to buy a $35,000 car on $15 or $20 an hour? (subsistance level wages.) Our own government is stabbing us all in the back with those rotten "free-trade" deals! This is all going to come back to bite Oblunder right on the ass! The "Ragin' Cajun" was absolutely right, "IT'S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!"
