Why the hell would anyone go to Alaska? Even Americans don't go there, it's like Canada.

That sounded mighty tough there too.

As Arpig has pointed out, you could come to Alaska..I'll have a little place about 50 miles from the nearest neighbor. You, me and complete solitude. [:D]

Like I said no one goes to Alaska, it's like deliverance with Snow, i've seen Sarah Palin. 50 miles without neighbours, no wonder you want me to go to you, You probably don't have any friends except online.

Plenty of people live in Alaska and it's growing as a state. Not as much as others, thank goodness. More than a few of them carve out a life in the bush..I'll be proud to be one of them.

Is that what we were talking about? Making friends? [image]http://www.collarchat.com/image/s2.gif[/image]

Hey, you're lonely I get that, you live in Alaska, Sarah Palin, Bears and Snow... London obviously has nothing culturally to compare to that and no it's not. You sound like a real outdoors man, in the projects I grew up in, we didn't have outdoors men or no one around for 50 miles. :)

I like that no matter what the topic or question, sooner or later you'll find a way to make the answer be the Grateful Dead. Now I'm not sure of the validity of this approach from a scientific point of view, but I admire the dexterity with which you do it.

30 years, two cigar boxes of ticket stubs has caused me to develop a slight tic I think[:D]

I try to maintain relevance although.... sometimes I am covering the derailing issue[:D]

I love the way America looks after its racial minorities.
I love the way America looks after Israel.
I love the way America looks after the earth's resources.
I love the way America looks after it's finances.
God bless the American way....

I love your post mate!

What you both write of here is that while one can still appreciate almost all of American culture, her talents, its canyons, its breadth and its historical ideal, that what we see now are the remnants of that ideal, most of which indicating...she has lost her values. One is sorry to say...the UK is right behind us along with most of the west.
