In my perspective:
I joined up to become a lil' more aware, to learn and to 'meet' people... online and irl.
I am not on a goosehunt for love (might seem like it) but more of ppl to talk to, about my feelings and to have a bit of fun.
I had the shortest msgs as Hi and Hello, on wich I almost always react with Goodbye [:D] I ain't nice I know.
No I'm not jaded, I have a lot of experiences out of a normal datingsite and from other boards I 'd participated on over the years. I keep an open mind to ppl as what they have to tell me.
Sadly enough, the majority of the participants are overseas for me.. So getting to know IRL is quite a challenge.
In fact CM brought me 2 reallife friends already... in this short period I'm on.
