Oh they are out there.

The local facist/Nazi/Aryan Nations ones torqued  the whole political spectrum with their violent crimes, so have to maintain a pretty low profile. Killing police officers is not a good thing if you are a political group. Anglo-Saxon identity groups like the KKK likely would get laughed into oblivion, and the Christian identity folks must hide in the boondocks, though there are more then a few of them out there.

Yeah...they used to come to my house.  I pointed to the sign that said "No Soliciting" and one of them said "we aren't soliciting, we are spreading the word of God" and I said "so you are selling God....God or vacuum cleaners, come back again and you get arrested"  That took care of that, they never came back.

Who are you going to believe? The government or real Americans.

I...um...didn't know that there were no Americans in the American government.

If you'd been paying attention to Michelle Bachmann, you'd know she's asked for the media to investigate this very thing!

Enough of this shit. Stop insulting socialists by equating us with your namby pamby milksop American liberals, OK. They aren't socialists, they are way too right wing for us, got it? They are owned lock stock and barrel by the corporations just like every other political group in the US of CA.

Realistically that is true anywhere in the Anglosphere. When I think about what a a real socialist political party is, I look at Latin American ones, or some of the political parties in the EU for examples.

If you'd been paying attention to Michelle Bachmann...

Funny you should mention her. Christian Dominionists would like to see adulteresses and homosexuals stoned. Not by government functionaries, you have to understand, but by the Christian community. It's a fellowship thing, yanno. And if they get enough power, they'll see that it's done. Not because they hate adulteresses and homosexuals, of course. They love them, dontcha know. Rejecting Jesus just has its price. That's all. They're not a hate group. Why hell, they've got a Republican presidential candidate! A "real" hate group is bunch of assholes who like to hold meetings and talk about vile shit that 99% of them haven't the guts to do.

Study: All American Problems Could Be Solved By Just Stopping And Thinking For Two Seconds.

"Our data indicate that when U.S. citizens don't take a second to compose themselves, they typically charge in like maniacs and hurt either themselves or several million Iraqi civilians." Mallory said a good rule of thumb for Americans is to think of a plan, stop, and then do the complete opposite.

Lol, I looked on the SPLC's "HATE MAP" for Massachusetts and there was a group there, "concerned citizens for illegal immigration" or something like that, in the next column they have them listed as "Anti-Immigrant."
Are they saying that those people have been contacting their Reps and Senators to reduce the overall numbers of immigration? And if so, what in the world is wrong with that?
I don't know *anyone* who is,..."anti-immigrant."
I know a lot of Irish immigrants in Mass who I've stayed in touch with over the years and they've never mentioned any anti-immigrant groups giving them any trouble. One of them just got her nursing degree and lives in Quincy, Mass a city south of Boston with a large Irish immigrant population.
And there's a fairly significant Irish immigrant population in S. N.H. and there's never been any anti-immigrant problems there either.
Perhaps the "SPLC" needs to send out some reps to talk to those people before flying off the handle.

...Concerned Citizens and Friends of Illegal Immigration Law Enforcement in Framingham, run by brothers Jim and Joe Rizoli, is new to the list.
The Rizoli brothers are no strangers to Southern Poverty Law Center, having been profiled by the Intelligence Report last year for their efforts to fight illegal immigration. The group's report accused the brothers of being racist toward Brazilians.
CCFIILE has held rallies in town to protest document fraud and has blamed illegal immigrants for some of the town's problems. The law center criticized the brothers for what it viewed as their support of a Holocaust denier.
The Rizoli brothers also produce a weekly cable TV show called "Illegal Immigration Chat."
"From the first time we started to look at them, they looked like a clearly racist group," said Mark Potok, editor of the Intelligence Report, a quarterly publication from the law center. "The things these brothers say about Brazilians and Brazilian women is hateful."
Potok said a hate group is one that "in its platforms or statements says that a whole other group of people is less by virtue....These are people who attack other groups of people based on their group characteristics."

Kalikshama, I think we're talking about two differant things here, I was talking about "immigrants" and you (seem) to be talking about illegal aliens, yes?
And ah,....."being "racist" towards Brazilians?" What did they do start a flash mob conga line around them?
Did they go down to Rio and pull their hi-jinks?
And it's a surprise to me but just when did "Brazillians" become another "race?"

Fightdirecto -> RE: 1,002 active hate groups in the United States in 2010 (7/11/2011 3:48:55 PM)

The Rizoli brothers of Framingham, Massachusetts (a neighboring town to mine), initially cloaked their position as "anti-ILLEGAL immigrants". However, as time went on it became clear that they were not just anti-ILLEGAL immigrants, but also anti-LEGAL immigrants (i.e. those holding valid Green Card and those who have become naturalized American citizens) if the LEGAL immigrants originally came from Brazil.

Reason One: There are now a high percentage of former Brazilians who are now naturalized American citizens living within the Framingham town limits, and they tend to vote as a bloc in town elections. When they vote as a bloc, they get their way (you know, like in a democracy or a republic) and the Rizoli's and their friends no longer politically control the town of Framingham. The Rizoli's see every new naturalized American citizen who is originally from Brazil as another loss of their political power.

Reason Two: Many of the former Brazilians who are now naturalized American citizens who live in Framingham and who own and operate businesses in Framingham still stubbornly refuse to abandon their heritage. They have been heard speaking Portuguese to each other on the public streets, their stores have advertising signs in Portuguese as well as English, and they sponsor their Brazilian relatives for American citizenship. They even teach classes to help legal immigrant Brazilians with Green Cards to study to take the American citizenship test. The Rizoli's have been calling for local laws to ban the use of the Portuguese language within the city limits of Framingham and one of the Rizoli's has even called for all former Brazilians who are now naturalized American citizens to be stripped of their new American citizenship and deported back to Brazil.

popeye1250 -> RE: 1,002 active hate groups in the United States in 2010 (7/11/2011 4:17:53 PM)

Directo, Brazillians are pretty cool. I did manoevers with their ships in the Navy in the Carribean and we'd come back into port at night in Gtmo and drink together. (They could hold their booze together pretty good.)
I really liked the sound of Portuguese, very melodic, a lot of "sh" sounds and even though I speak a little Spanish I just couldn't understand anything they said, I figured it might have a few similarities with Spanish but it doesn't. Luckily quite a few of them spoke English so we were able to communicate that way.
Those two guys don't sound genuine then. It would be another thing if they were against "illegal aliens" only. But they seem to want to lump everyone together.

Jesus said himself....that to get into heaven, you had to feed the hungry, comfort the sick, clothe the naked and council the prisoner.

That`s about as liberal a command(ment) as I`ve ever seen.

Jesus also gave out health-care for free.[:D]

Owner, so what does "Jesus" say about people in foreign countries not feeding their own?
In this country we have no shortage of homeless, unemployed, hungry, sick, addicted. So, looks like most of us who donate to all those things will be in skyland, correct?
And Jesus said to feed the stranger, illegal aliens are no "strangers" everyone knows who they are and what they're all about, they're interlopers.
We're not talking about some sheppard in a potato sack trying to bum a wooden bowl of oatmal off of you and then down the lane he goes to the next house.

You can always tell what leftists fear.. it's what they attack.. and what they attack, they do themselves. "Hate" is just another way for them to censor. Republicans? A hate party. HATE. Conservatives? Oh yes, that's hate speech. See how easy it is? Oh, and "she's stupid, he's stupid" like they know anything about smart. And since when is "smart" a characteristic of a great leader? IT ISN'T. That's why I believe liberalism is a form of mass hysteria or mental illness.

Speaking of mental illness.... you can always tell what rightists fear << See how easy that is to flip ?

Moonhead -> RE: 1,002 active hate groups in the United States in 2010 (7/12/2011 4:41:50 AM)

He'd probably have something to say about rendering foreign countries incapable of feeding their own by forcibly shifting their agricultural economy over to growing cash crops for export, rather than staples they can actually eat themselves.

From my perspective I would consider the ACLU a hate group, since they put the interests (not rights) of minority groups before the majority.

from my perspective this post clearly makes you a rather unintelligent person.

tweakabelle -> RE: 1,002 active hate groups in the United States in 2010 (7/13/2011 7:13:30 AM)

From my perspective I would consider the ACLU a human rights group. I've never heard of any human rights group advocating or defending the right to hate - in fact I've ever heard any one suggest that such a right exists. Groups like the ACLU might defend the right to free speech by those who hate - but that's quite a different matter.

I can't say that hearing someone suggest that a group that defends human rights (which are by definition, for all people) has enriched my life in any way that I recognise, would welcome or feel grateful for.

Oh they took up for the Nazis right to march through Jewish neighborhoods in the United States years ago. - http://www.kansaspress.ku.edu/strwhe.html

Imagine being a Jewish lawyer and having to defend this.
