There are only 2 main hate groups in the United States. The Ku Klux Klan and the skinheads. Every other group is simply opposing a liberal, ant-American, globalist agenda.

You have to be totally brainwashed to believe that every group they list is a real hate group based on their perspective. Who are you going to believe? The government or real Americans.

Loyal to the country can mean different things.  Patriotism cannot.  Patriotism is one thing and that is the love of the ideals on which your country was founded.  So if you are a communist, you are not a patriotic American...it is not a question of borders, it is a matter of ideals.

I'm about 1000% sure that the founding fathers were not against communism. Mostly because it hadn't been invented yet.

Slavery on the other hand...

Communism had been "invented" Marxism had not.

Your problem is that you can't read except through your ideological filter (a trait, I admit, I and most people sometimes share).

I said that a real Christian has an obligation to help those less fortunate. I did not say that a real Christian has an obligation to help those less fortunate by "turning their money over to the government and trusting a bunch of bureaucrats to dispense it".

"Turning their money over to the government and trusting a bunch of bureaucrats to dispense it" is not a core principle of Christianity - or a core principle of Liberalism either. The accusation that a core principle of liberalism is "turning other people's money over to the government and trusting a bunch of bureaucrats to dispense it" is just a false charge and a rationalization made by self-centered, self-important people who believe, as Ayn Rand did, that selfishnessness is a virtue, and not a character flaw. "Selfishness is a virtue" is, IMO however, a core principle of Libertarianism.

I do believe in "Free Will" - each person has the free will to follow the teachings of anyone they wish - Jesus Christ, Ayn Rand, Buddha, Adoplh Hitler, Homer Simpson, whoever. I happen to believe that a person will be judged, both here in life and afterwards, by whose teachings they choose to follow. I do not belong to any organized church group - because I find in each of them dogma not based on the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose teachings I try to follow. That is a exercise of my "free will" and I will be judged, both here in life and afterwards, based on that choice and how I live my daily life.

From my perspective I would consider the ACLU a hate group, since they put the interests (not rights) of minority groups before the majority.

No...you are wrong.  You are taking that passage out of context.  He told that to a man that wanted to follow him as an apostle.  The man was wealthy and Christ told the man what you cited above.  The man told Christ that he was (and I'm paraphrasing) crazy and that he asked for too much and the man went away.  Christ then said to his apostles that a camel has an easier time passing through the eye of a needle than entering the Kingdom of Heaven.  Christ used that man to teach a lesson and the lesson Christ taught that day was that God is jealous and you can have no love of anything above God.  Because if you do, the thing you love above God is your Master.......not God.

No, it wasn't a man who wanted to follow Jesus as an apostle, it was a man who wanted "eternal life" which I'm guessing means the heaven-sort, not the immortal-on-earth sort.

16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?”

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

18 “Which ones?” he inquired.

Jesus replied, “‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony,

19 honor your father and mother,’[c] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’[d]”

20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”

21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Post the rest of it.

paraphrasing;

The man walked away with saddened countenance, because his riches were great...........

close enough.

Wrong...wrong and stupid.  The point of that lesson was what I said it was, that you can serve no Master above God.  But Kirata is right, man is not capable of living the life of Christ because man is imperfect.  He can aspire to live as Christ-like a life as possible but sin is part of the human condition.

That is the fucking stupidest shit I have ever read anywhere. What it lacks in moronic it exceeds in cretinism.

22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!

24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

So, I am totally right, and you lose, take off your pants.

Well, I think he makes the common assumption the communist=Marxist-Leninist.

I could see a 'communist' as a patriot, but a Marxist-Leninist being a patriot is about as impossible as a monarchist being one. Setting up Soviets in the US would break countless of the state and federal constitutional provisions as well as being so counter cultural as to be totally alien, while living in a communal society like the Amish and some Mormon groups or other groups such as Indian tribes and certain alternative lifestyles people do would not.

Liberalism in the United States

Modern American liberalism is a form of social liberalism developed from progressive ideals such as Theodore Roosevelt's New Nationalism, Woodrow Wilson's New Freedom, Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, John F. Kennedy's New Frontier, and Lyndon Johnson's Great Society. It combines social liberalism and social progressivism with support for a welfare state and a mixed economy.

And you still can't read, fuckwit. You misquoted me.

Almost as good as listening to some Brits discuss it.

To hear your some of your lot tell it (giving them the benefit of the doubt, likely posting from the pub on their wireless), Marx though that that a state church with a hereditary nobility and monarch was the true face of his proposed society.

Of course the same lot never considered why the British ruling class fought the Marxists tooth and nail, while living in utter terror of a similarly inspired worker's revolt.

mnottertail -> RE: 1,002 active hate groups in the United States in 2010 (7/11/2011 12:18:04 PM)

Then we have a fundamental disagreement on the meaning.

21 Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

Now, you can say it serves god and mammon, and couch it like that,  but the point of it is, the rich have not got a giving heart, because their possessions mean more to them than the selfless helping of people in mean or dire circumstance.

Ghandi, Mother Teresa compared to say, neo-cons.

I'm game: which Brits have argued that, then?

Lol, I looked on the SPLC's "HATE MAP" for Massachusetts and there was a group there, "concerned citizens for illegal immigration" or something like that, in the next column they have them listed as "Anti-Immigrant."
Are they saying that those people have been contacting their Reps and Senators to reduce the overall numbers of immigration? And if so, what in the world is wrong with that?
I don't know *anyone* who is,..."anti-immigrant."
I know a lot of Irish immigrants in Mass who I've stayed in touch with over the years and they've never mentioned any anti-immigrant groups giving them any trouble. One of them just got her nursing degree and lives in Quincy, Mass a city south of Boston with a large Irish immigrant population.
And there's a fairly significant Irish immigrant population in S. N.H. and there's never been any anti-immigrant problems there either.
Perhaps the "SPLC" needs to send out some reps to talk to those people before flying off the handle.

Coming from a Canadian that is funny.

Since 3/4s of Canadians don't even know who their head of state is, and some large number don't have any idea what kind of government (federal republic a quarter thought) you yourselves have there in the Dominion . . .

And then more then half thought they directly elected the PM. (Have they ever actually voted?)

And the most ignorant appear to be in Ontario and Quebec, while those cowboys in the prairies actually seemed to be on top of things..

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/article727549.ece

At least people in the UK and the US know what kind of government they have and who their head of state is.

Edited to add, here is the poll report itself - http://www.dominion.ca/DominionInstituteDecember15Factum.pdf

Lucylastic -> RE: 1,002 active hate groups in the United States in 2010 (7/11/2011 12:34:56 PM)

ignorance of more than just US and UK...very good
and its Canadian not "a canada"
ignorance indeed works in all kinds of ways.
better use some humility dear chap
edited to add thanks for the edit:)[:D][:D][:D]
