Why do you think it's silly? Little girls have been pretending to feed their baby dolls with a bottle for decades. What's the difference.. or is there one? Perhaps you think that's silly as well? Breast feeding fosters bonding between mother and child, gives colostrum to infants for a few days before milk kicks in which is better for the baby as it provides antibodies to fight disease, it's lower in fat and higher in protein than regular milk. Plus breast milk is FREE and formula is very, very expensive. I think this product should be applauded for showing little girls alternatives to bottles which are much, much better for their future babies.

GI Joe dolls teach our young children that war is entertaining and fun. That blowing things up and killing others is good.. and that is beyond silly.

I guess perspective really has a lot to do with it, huh?

As for why I went into the virtues of breast feeding, I was explaining my 'own' perception on the value of such a product.
