..........TOYS? (What were you thinking? [;)])

Instead of saying...get me the red flogger or the heavy flogger...do you say "get me the annhilator...or the crusher"?

What kinds of names do you come up with for your toys?

My favorite that I ever heard was a friend of mine hated the kids tv show "Barney". She also hated thud. Her Dominant bought a new purple, very thuddy, suede flogger that he immediately named "Barney". She hated that too!

Rarely and only spontaneously- usually something like "The really squeaky toy"

I generally find the practice vomit inducing.

And YES the same goes for naming body parts (and YES that's completely what I was thinking).

Have to agree.........never really wanted to name Sir's tools...only one that has anykind of name is my one vibrator......it's name is spikey, don't ask me why but that was the name it came with.........LOL

No, I have way too many tools to name them.  I just call the tool by what it is... cane, crop, blue strap-on, red anal plug, etc., etc.  The only thing I name are the submales & slaves I have under contract.

By the way, I agree with LA, naming your body parts is completely and utterly stupid.

So far, I haven't done this. I will, on occassion, refer to them by their maker's name, if its one of several. I don't name body parts either, but I have thrown around a couple of names for my car. I will, however, be naming myself once the divorce is final. I'm changing my last name, for the last time, to a name of my choosing.

I'll admit it. I have a trio of singletails, each with different poppers on their ends that I call the "Three Disgraces" because they have the capability of making me disgracefully noisy. I call the hitachi "The Thing" and I mentally call the tazapper "Oh Sh*t" because it royally earns that name.

I have named my toy Big Ben.  It's a clock tower.  Just needs 2 hands and a face.

Wow benji, that's a pretty tall name to live up to....and I hope that when you have the hands and face put on that the hour hand works as well as the minute one [;)].

Actually "toys" was the first thing I thought of when I read the subject title and saw who had started the thread. We don't name our toys except that, collectively, I do call them weapons and we do have a few that probably qualify as weapons of mass destruction. ;)

i call one of my toys the Viper because that's what it's called :p.  Others might call it a flogger though but it's a very specific type of flogger.

My friend Mike and my roomate have taken it upon themselves to name my toys, a practice I don't much ascribe to, although I call my 9inch vibe, "my little friend".

Shaniqua (my first, sex shop rubber flogger that I tried braiding, braids are gone, came from a rather bad joke I had with the roomate)

Cecelia (a thin stranded latigo flogger given to me as a gift, once called Tiffany, which I objected to because that is my name. We furs go by other names, and don't really call each other our real names, so I'm known as Nova.)

The Kitty/ The Cat (yes my rope cat of nine, accused of shedding.)

They are trying to come up with names for the floggers I have that remind them of Jamacians. Here is hoping they fail miserably.


I also call my impact toys weapons, cause I'm pretty sure they could qualify as such.

Can't say I've ever considered a viper a good play toy.  Good mindfuck toy maybe if it actually stays locked in its cage.  But using it as a flogger.....no.  LOL

I have a couple of toys which could qualify as weapons of *ass* destruction.  Usually I have just referred to the toys by what they looked like... trailer hitch plug, the big red one. Now that the idea is in my head, naming toys could be fun.
