What it really tells about him is that he can read a post where I talk about how hard life is for a working parent making $12 an hour and think I'm saying that welfare recipients should get more welfare.

I really, truly don't have any words for that.

But they practice law and they contribute to society.

nyuck, nyuck, nyuck

Funny guy.  Ok...what do attorneys and sperm have in common?

Both have only a one in 20,000 chance of ever becoming a human being.

There now, let's all laugh at the lawyer joke.

They say that 1 out of every 10 in Washington DC are lawyers.  You know what the other nine are?

Human beings.

Isn't that a contradiction of terms?

How do you stop a lawyer drowning? Take your foot off his head.

How do you stop a lawyer spitting at you? Turn him over, he's done that side.

What I am saying about your post, Imperatrixx, is that it is hard to make a living.  So the fuck what?  MM said that it is not as hard as people make it.  I'm not sure what MM means but if he means that people, through their decisions, fuck up their lives and hamstring themselves, well...that's true.  But that doesn't mean that the rest of society has to bear the brunt of their bad choices.  You say "its expensive".  Yeah...great...everyone thinks it is expensive, thanks for the revelation.  The ISSUE is how much the top 50% should have to pay for the bottom 50% and the illegal population that is not included in the percentage because, if they were, it would be the top 40% supporting the bottom 60% or worse still.

Yeah you punk...I don't think you are disabled at all.  I think you are a fucking sponge, a tick, a bedbug!  I have handled dozens of laminectomy cases and degenerative spine disease cases (Oh...by the way you malingering fool, if you actually had a laminectomy, you would probably know how to spell it!) and my clients went back to work for places like Comcast and the cab company and back to their medical offices.  You know what?  There are a number of lawyers in the county court that make it through the day on their easy chair scooters.  They are disabled SlaveMalingerer....THEY CAN'T FUCKING WALK!  But they practice law and they make money and they contribute to society.

Go drink your fucking gin and tonic.  But when you get gout and rosacea, don't fucking come crying to us!!!

Let's say you were to meat me on the street. If I were wearng long sleeves there is absolutely no way you could visually identify me as disabled. Should I not receive disability?

Ken...I have said this before and I will say it again.  I have no problem with people collecting disability.  I just don't like SlaveMike and his leftwing, loser politics.  It is really that simple.  In fact, the first time a person in NJ ever received full disability for Spasmodic Torticollis was one of my cases.

Well I'll repeat to you what I said to Firm - with progressive tax, the people who have financially benefitted the most from living in America are the ones who are expected to give the most back, financially, to America.

I tend to see America as a whole, to me, social programs should be about investing in America as a whole, not about taking from one group and giving to another group. I touched on this in another thread with you, when I mentioned the Nordic model of social welfare...the idea there is not giving money to poor people, but giving stability to all people, including the working and middle class.

I will say, I agree 100% that a social model where multi-billionaires are paying to feed the destitute is nowhere close to ideal. Anything after that, though, is where you and I diverge.

See, the thing is, I don't see all poor people as leeches. Are there welfare recipients who are gaming the system, using public funds to support their drug habit? Of course there are. Flip that and say, are there corporate execs (coughmicrosoftcough) that deliberately violate the law because they've worked out that paying the fine is cheaper than doing the right thing? Of course there are. Long story short, there are shit cunt poor people and there are shit cunt rich people. But if you're basing your opinions of the poor on the worst in the barrel, you should also do the same for the rich. Otherwise you just seem prejudiced.

I never asked the neurosurgeon how to spell it.....I just signed on the dotted line. You see I had a desire to walk again, and the way the disc was crimping the nerves I was losing use of my left leg....my left arm was already shot....thankfully after the operation I walk and I walk fine. But enough of justifying myself to the likes of you.
Let us look at your assertions about going back to work.My accident occurred March 31 2005(at the time I was working two jobs) my last surgery was in 2009... A result of the wonderful insurance industry making medical decisions for me....instead of my doctor and I.
I still get spinal epidurals every three months....I have a constant and steady supply of vicodin by my side at all times...and as I have proved often enough here ( by making posts that are near as stupid as yours) I need to use them often.Again tell me how I am employable...I don't have a law degree so I can't roll myself down the courthouse halls. I can not be insured,so no work open to me that would be above board....care to continue making an asshole out of yourself. Are you suggesting I should have told the Workers Compensation judge...."no thanks I will not take the award you have judged me to deserve... Would rather sell pencils "...., should I also have turned down my SSI which I earned by dint of withholdings I paid into during my working career .When I reach the age of 65 shall I tell Verizon I do not want the pension I earned after working 25 years there?
Final point asshole...it is Jack Daniels....see the avatar, only pussies like yourself would drink gin and tonics.

Mikey-poo.  I'm going to be honest.  I didn't read your post because....well....I don't care.  I don't want to know about your case or anything else.  I only noticed that at the end you say you drink Jack Daniels and that is a pussy high schooler's drink.  Try a bourbon, I can give you a list of some good ones, and elevate your tastes.

As far are your disability is concerned, who gives a fuck?  What I care about is the class warfare you believe in.  You believe in punishing a small segment of our society for its success.  It isn't their fault that you are not successful but you libs seem to think it is.  No rich man ever tackled you as you left your house to keep you from going to work.  In fact, it was a bunch of rich guys at (now I have to look at your fucking post....thanks) Verizon that employed your sorry ass.  So punishing the people that do the employing, the inventing, the expanding, etc. seems really fucking stupid to me.

You support this scumbag cocksucker Obama.  Did you like Clinton?  Under which President did our companies start relocating across the globe.  It was Reagan, right?  But it didn't actually start until Clinton.  And you think all of this is bad, right?  Because our manufacturing has evaporated and people can't find work.  And I agree with you.  But why didn't HW Bush but a stop to it?  Why didn't Clinton for 8 years?  Why didn't W?  Why hasn't Obama?  And some of these guys you are an absolute, fucking, disgusting sycophant for.

Why?  I think you and I agree on what some of the evils are that face this country.  I think we have very different viewpoints on how they should be addressed.  But do you think some of our problems might be addressed by a President like Rand Paul who would be much more protectionist?  Wouldn't you want to at least TRY a guy like that rather than four more years of one of the most left wing presidents in our country's history?  What do you think?

A lawyer dies in his sleep and goes to heaven. He looks around, astounded, and tells Saint Peter that there must be a mistake, he's only 30 and way too young to die. Saint Peter looks at his book and says that by our records, you're 85, and it's your time. The lawyer is outraged, and says "clearly you are wrong, how do you figure that I'm 85?" Saint Peter replies, "We added up your billable hours."

I am not prejudiced.  The poor that game the system should be punished and punished severely.  The Bernie Madoff's of the world should face capital punishment.  No....really....death.  When you steal everything a person has, you have raped them in a way that is hard to describe.  What the Milkens and the Madoffs of the world have done should subject them to imprisonment on a place like Devil's Island.  Isn't that where Papillion was imprisoned?  No...I make no distinction.  Criminals were never my heroes.
