You are hopeless - heres why:

The separation of powers has nothing to do with it, even the bullshit propaganda article that RudeSub used as a source maintains that nobody "won" anything because the case was settled out of court when the DoD kissed the alleged "whistle blower" on the cheek, patted her on the head and wrote her a big fat check at taxpayer expense.

Again, who do you think pulls the strings in the DoD these days...

Any idea? Any clue?

And what do you think "settled out of court" means.

Never mind, dont bother answering... you obviously dont think.

Youre incapable.

quote:

ORIGINAL: rulemylife

Are you really this paranoid to believe the Obama administration had something to do with this settlement?

There is a thing called separation of powers.

Like I said, you are falling off the edge.

You should try stopping the name calling and getting yourself informed Sanity. Shit, did I just use "Sanity" and "informed" in the same sentence. It hurts your own, and Wilburs sensibilities ( wilbur and sensibilities ? ) because I post stuff that you dont like, so you both revert to childish nonsense. I don't hear y'all calling to cancel all KBR contracts in light of the budget crisis.

What's wrong? Afraid US Soldiers can't get the job done or do y'all just hate America?

Shut the War Department. Bring all the troops home today.

Contracts to put out oil well fires started by Saddam Hussein during the invasion of Iraq? WTF are you fucking babbling about now?

The Iraq contracts were just additional orders under LOGCAP contracts.

"The US Army Logistics Augmentation Program--LOGCAP--is a multi-year super contract awarded by the dept of defense for complex jobs the military might need performed on short notice. Halliburton first won the competitive bidding for this contract in 1992 under the Clinton administration. One of Halliburton subsidiaries did work in Haiti, Somalia, and Bosnia.
In 1997 Halliburton lost the LOGCAP contract but the Clinton administration. still awarded a sole-source contract for work in the Balkans. The next time the LOGCAP was awarded was in 1999 and Halliburton won the contract again. Gore and Clinton both wrote favorable assessments of the work that Halliburton did under LOGCAP. In 2001 Halliburton won the LOGCAP again."

RIO and RIOP 2 were seperate and distinct contracts from LOGCAP. LOGCAP is only about support services for US troops. Iraq oil infrastructure repairs in case Saddam damaged the wells was RIO. RIO 2 is the contract to improve the Iraqi oil export infrastructure.

It should be easy for either of them to come up with proof that its all propaganda and slanted ...
they must have something to back up their argument, mustnt they? a news source, or a court finding or a vid clip
I think we should wait for their words of wisdom and proof, from their sources, its only fair ....
just dont hold your breath... and move your body every couple of hours so you dont get pressure sores

Which says nothing about my point that both Clinton and Obama admins have awarded sole source contracts to Halliburton/subs under LOGCAP. (And LOGCAP in Iraq is worth about 6x RIO). In the interim LOGCAP was competitively bid by the Bush admin and they were the low bidder. To dumb it down for you, as I know is necessary, nothing is any different regarding Halliburton/subs under any of the last 3 administrations. Attempts to make it look like there was some Bush/Cheney underhanded dealing are bullshit.

They are reading quotes and the reporting and you`re playing semantics games, claiming that an out of court settlement isn`t a victory......so you can pretend to be correct.

Liar. You claimed the Obama administration had extended RIO.
quote:

I guess they dont exist in Obama's world either, since his admin has sole sourced the same contracts to Halliburton/KBR/subsidiaries.

When I pointed out that RIO was not something the Obama admin could have awarded you claimed it was part of LOGCAP
quote:

The Iraq contracts were just additional orders under LOGCAP contracts.

Do not ever try and pretend like you weren't just making shit up left right and center because I trimmed the quotes.

If there were a link that could provide you with enough common sense to be able to see the blatant, over-the-top bias in the article I would give it to you, lucy

They didnt even bother to try to disguise it even a little bit

If you really cannot discern something that is so plain and that is right in front of you... I am really sorry for you

I am not playing anything Lucy, the bias is very clearly evident without further evidence or interpretation needed

Terribly easy to spot.

They must rely on their readers being either simpletons or as rabidly, what would you say, pro Saddam as they

WHat you think is common sense is paranoia and fear, so you have nothing to back up your proclamation, simple, just admit it.
its not that hard to admit you are wrong, is it?
